I had no cracks, but you could start to see the stress line on the trim. It never leaked on the window like some others have experienced. I only noticed the headliner with a small wet spot after a 2 day down pour. The dealer here took the vin/pictures and had the window in for replacement within a week.

A wet headliner indicates a failed 3rd brake light seal. Go to Home Depot and get marine weatherstrip ans replace the seal. Its what almost all of us have done and have never had the problem come back

Just discovered my crack and leak. Unfortunately, I have 38k miles on my 2019 Ram, am I screwed or will Ram step up and fix this known issue?!?!

Perfect example of why we are adamant about long term coverage from Ram.

Do you happen to know the part number of the window they installed? It should be on your service record reciept or the glass itself. Both of mine were PN68303352AE (E being the revision) and they failed. I think they are up to revision G now but don't hold me to it.
The window they put in my 2019 Laramie Crew Cab is 68426398AC. It has the power slider.

Good info. Thanks! Let us know how it holds up.

Perhaps if we all post the part numbers of our defective windows and our new replacement windows we can identify a trend.

My '09 has a leak in the back. I have replaced the gasket around the 3rd brake light. I can't find any cracks at all. I believe the problem is the draining. I see 3 weep holes and 2 of them are body color. The other one is dirty which makes me think water is no exiting there. I need help in finding a way to clear the weep hole please.

Update on my rear window: Dealership already ordered the replacement window but is waiting for Ram to approve the replacement before scheduling my truck.

Meanwhile this little fella keeps leaking like a sieve. Had some snow/rain last night. I gave my kids a microfiber to wiper up the water while we are driving. Fun times.

Due to this manufacturer defect, I also require this surround repair on both sides of rear sliding window at 58,100 miles on 2019 model. Never been in the cold. Little help @RamCares IMG_9129.jpg

Mine was complete yesterday.

Went in one week ago and pictures were taken. Took 6 days for FCA to approve warranty work.

Window was done yesterday looks like the dealer outsourced to a local glass shop. Work looks good. No sealant or noticeable damage/things out of place.

I will see how things hold up and update here.

I am in Canada so the process could differ.

I joined the club. 2020 Ram 1500, 9,500miles Manufacture date 09/2019. Noticed the crack on the driver side of the rear window and water leaking during this winter season. Brought it to my dealership, they investigated and determined to replace entire rear window assembly and third break light (I guess for good measure). Waiting for parts to come in, possibly end of January. Attached are some pics and part numbers. Video of my leak here:

I miss the good old days...huge chunk of glass in the back surrounded by rubber with no slider. And a gun rack with a shot gun and 30-30. Of course back then one didn’t think about breaking into a man’s pickup - especially one owned by a gun owner!

Rained here hard recently for the first time in 8 months. Went a took a look in the cab and saw my
headliner was soaked. Made an appointment and took the truck on Weds. Got it back today. They
said it was the 3rd brake light. But then said part won't be in until March. I asked what I should do
for the next 2 months since we're now in the rainy season. Got a blank stare and some stammering.
Ugh. Also had no answer when I asked what they'll do about the headliner.

FYI, I don't have any visible cracks. Just a stained headliner (wet when it rains) and on the drivers side
inside corner of the window I can see water marks from running down the glass.
