Rear wheel house liners

I contacted Husky about a week ago, and they replied they have no immediate plans to create wheel liners for 19 Ram. Of course a year from now who knows. Once I got that email from them, I ordered my parts from the local RAM dealer. Hopefully, I will have sometime to install them this weekend.

A few things I learned from the install...

1. The part number for the extra screws needed that were listed in the youtube video are the wrong ones, luckly I had some stainless screws laying around. (correct part #6510175AA)

2. (If you have the factory fender flares only) The top three clips must be removed, only one of them needs to be reused on each side. The liner comes with built in clips that the screw will thread into, if you leave the clips they will get in the way making it very hard to line up the holes.

3. After the first side was finished the other side only took me about 15 minutes. If you have a floor jack handy it's much easier with the wheel off. (wheel torque specs are 130 ft-lbs)

Youtube video for reference-

Just a couple of things to note that I haven't seen mentioned before:

1) The Youtube video shows install on a truck with factory flares. My truck does not have them so I noted a couple of differences. You won't have the three nut clips to remove around the top. To get the one that needs to be added to the back, I used one from the front panel since it is not reused. Also you'll be short those 3 screws, so instead of one extra screw per side, you'll need 4 extra (part #6510175AA) for a total of 8. The dealer I bought from only sold them in a pack of 10 so I lucked out. Also the factory trim that gets removed and reinstalled is slightly different on a truck without the flares, so you won't be using the very bottom back hole for the wheel liners/trim.

2) I have the RamBox bed and had not seen anyone reference whether or not the wheel liners and procedure was the same. I can now confirm that it is all the same parts and process.

As a side note, I added Weathertech "mud flaps" at the same time and am happy with the way they fit.

Thanks to all for your insight so that I had everything needed for a smooth install.

Where did everyone order from? Having a hard time finding all three parts needed on the same site.

Try Rockauto.com
They were out of one side initially, but you can set up an email alert to let you know when they are back in stock. I was going to order mine from here, but my dealer gave them to me and installed for free since they had a pretty big mixup and were trying to fix things. I have a bad amp, service advisor retired, nobody else knew anything from that point and parts never got ordered.

I used rockauto as well, they come in and out of stock frequently, shipping is very reasonable and pretty quick

I was able to purchase everything at the dealership. Parts department ask for my VIN number. They were able to look up the parts needed and order them. Picked them up the next day.

40 50 or 60k. It doesn’t matter. They don’t come standard with mud flaps ? Why would they come standard with full wheel well liners ? It gets me every time someone complains about this lol. FCA wants there money.

I installed my liners on my Bighorn, and wanted to update anyone who may be installing on a new Ram with NO factory flares. When I ordered my liners from MoparPartsGiant.com, I also ordered 8 screws, (instead of just 2), and it was the perfect number. So, if you are installing liners on a Ram without flares, you will need 4 per side. There are no screws in the top 3 fender holes, if you don't have flares. Also, watch the video posted above, it's very informative. And thanks to Eguzowski, kjn86, YoAdrian, jordan2929, and all of you here on the forum for your help!

I was actually digging into that. I never realized 3 holes didn't have screws. I had my liners installed at the dealer free of charge and was wondering if they had always been missing and I didn't notice it, or if the dealer had lost them. Either way, they should have put them in there when they installed the liners.

The top three holes don't have screws because they're for holding the fender flare on. No flare= no reason for the factory to put the screws in.

That will change shortly. Have some Bushwacker flares at a buddy's shop for paint. Luckily Bushwacker includes screws for those 3 holes on each side.

Okay , I know this is a wheel house liner thread. But I have a question for you guys.
I was driving home from work and I heard a rattle underneath my passenger seat . I found this two random trim pieces, just sitting there next to the tire jack.
Does anybody know what these are or what they're for?

my laramie came with the factory flares AND the wheel liners, and there is no mention of it anywhere on the window sticker (as being an option)

The only thing I can think they would fit is the space where the controls go for the power seats - they don't match the shape of the control unit including the bezel, but depending on the size, they might fit the hole they cover. It's hard to tell by looking under my seats because there's so many wires and such. It does look like the same material. Do you have power seats?
