Maybe loud AF is a subjective thing, but I just got my 2023 and found it beasty without crossing into obnoxious. Really well done.

100%..they did a great job, I did try it without the resonators and couldn't handle the drone, put them back on with some 5" black tips..it's a nice unique sound

Meh..maybe or maybe not, I had the borla atak (just muffler not full catback) on my 2019 5th gen and it looks and measured exactly the same as my 2022 gt..the GT actually measured 12 decibels louder at 113

Help me understand what you are referring to. In the attached pic of a Borla Atak, which part(s) looks exactly like a factory Ram GT exhaust?

Also no one ever said it had the Atak (except for the one guy you are replying to who necroed a 2 year old thread with bogus info). If anything it was the S-Type

The GT exhaust is not louder then the Atak exhaust...

Borla exhausts don't come with resonators... How can you remove something that doesn't exist? In fact thr only resonator you can get from borld is a single pipe, not like the 2 that are on your Mopar exhaust from the sounds of it.

With all that said Ram is known for putting the wrong exhausts on trucks sometimes. Regular trucks got the gt exhaust, Mopar exhaust on a gt, it happens. But ram doesn't sell a rebranded Borla Atak, just an S-Type.

Not sure why you needed to quote me here, "the one guy" you reference is the guy I was I asking. He stated Borla Atak, I was asking what he was thinking

Not trying to be a d*** with these two points, but: 1) The poster I quoted indicated that the two exhausts are "exactly" the same. He even stated Ram just put a sticker over Borla's name and called their own. Simply not true. 2) Borla might make exhaust parts for Ram, but I have yet to see any substantiation that Borla makes a water-heater muffler for the GT, one that looks exactly like a stock Ram muffler from the outside. I'd be pleased to see something that confirms that.

A simple youtube search will prove you wrong..just search borla attack with resonators and the oem gt exhaust, I've had them both and the gt measured higher

I didn't say the Borla Atak came with resonators..but you do know you can buy Borlas as a stand alone muffler right, which is what I did and kept the stock resonators

And the quote you're referring to is the gt system I removed the resonators and put them back on due to drone.

Well, I see you've been on this forum long enough that you aren't just here to troll, but if you are convinced (or trying to convince others) that the mufflers from the two systems are identical, I guess no amount of conversation or visual evidence is going to help you :rolleyes:
