I’m all for speed but make sure you have tires that are rated for it. I’ve heard of failures like this and it’s never pretty. Blowing a stock truck tire while trying to do 150 mph doesn’t sound like fun to me.

In my younger days I wouldn’t even think about that. Guess I’m getting old and common sense is finally creeping in.

Keep in mind if you have warranty and show up to the dealership with a different pcm this will 100% void your warranty. If you have warranty and still want you do it you could swap the pcms before going to dealership for work, takes like 10 minutes.

Wow, first post on this forum, and you've got your fists up already. See the post (linked below) - any service tech can easily determine if you've swapped the PCM. So your warranty is not safe by sneaking around and trying to pretend you didn't do it.

Foe those of you with gde tune, have you gone in for warranty work even with a stock ecm swapped back?

Here's what my dealer said. I'm I'm pretty good with them due to having worked foe the group. I don't want to void the warranty on a brand new expensive truck on a light tune. It's not like I'm trying to get 200 hp more or deleted the def system.

"The tech said some of those tunes will set codes in other modules on the vehicle and when it comes in for warranty work we have to submit a scan report with every RO so they will see it that way."

I am running Toyo Open Country AT3s and they list them at top speed of 118. Not sure I would want to push it.
