gm shuts the ft Wayne truck assembly plant down every time inventory gets a little out of hand on 1500's. I am about 60 miles from there.Man, You Tube is full of “the sky is falling” copycat videos on the big 3 truck sales. While I dont care for the ridiculous prices of the 24’s and 25’s, I don't think dealerships will be going bankrupt like the YTbers are saying.
Recently one Ford dealer down in Florida just shut down however that seems to be rare. I do see a lot of inventory on the local Ford and Ram lots, not so much the GMC or Chevy dealer lot.
One of my favorite videos was one that insinuated, quite intensley, that Stellantis was going bankrupt and needed government intervention.Man, You Tube is full of “the sky is falling” copycat videos on the big 3 truck sales. Yep. Mark Dodge will pick you up from I think 5 different airports. I chose Houston, because it was cheapest from Detroit, and I had flown there before. A driver picks you up, and takes you the two hours there, where the truck was waiting, on the delivery pad. The whole process was great. I paid cash, so wiring money for a truck I hadn't seen, was scary, but they let you check it all over and test drive to make sure it is acceptable, before signing paperwork.Dealer near me doesn't deal at all, they think 2K off MSRP is a deal. But you should shop around on the websites for the big Ram dealers if your willing to travel. Some will even pick you up at the airport, but I believe its a buyers market, I'd expect $5K to $10K off MSRP for 2024's.
