First time poster. Looking to purchase 2021 1500 Built to Serve.

MSRP is $60,185
JD Powers NADA invoice is $56, 531

Dealer price on website is $50,907 which includes EP ($6278 - code 29HM1), Retail Bonus Cash ($1000 - 21CMA1) and Military ($500 - 39CMB). Dealer has another $1500 discount.

No trade-in. Adding to the household fleet. Can get 1.89% from Bank of America.

Looking for recommendations on my negotiation goal. Will also look to apply the Ram web site $1500 bonus cash after negotiating.

Without any negotiations what so ever the sticker on a 2021 ram limited was $71,595 price with incentives was $60,624. but everyone knows it's really the delta when you trade in a vehicle, Edmunds valued my trade at 50k give or take $500. The dealer valued the trade at 57k, at that point doing the deal was a no brainer.
What on earth did you trade for $57k?

Interesting that dealers are just listing the FCA discount.
They obviously want their holiday bonuses...

Had a 2018 F150 XLT with 26k miles in 2.5 years. MSRP about $51,200, paid about $40,200 new, got $35,500 trade. Then 12% dealer discount before rebates on the Laramie. In total paid about $43,500 on the Laramie with MSRP $55,135.
Was happy with the deal.

They are now listing that truck for what I paid new. That is just greedy, it is at best worth $36,000 IMO (and that is with a new dash it needs because of the dash warp problem). I guess that is why it hasn't sold in two and a half months.

That’s why I went with a new vehicle. What’s the point of buying a used truck with almost 30k miles on it for a few thousand dollars more than I can get a brand new one?

I think I got a very good deal. Pick it up Dec 16th.

21% off MSRP(75,500$CAD) on a 2020 Ram Sport with included weathertech mats, line-x bedliner, and lund nerf bars.
Trade-In 39,500$ + plus tax savings for 2017 Ram 1500 Sport with 58,000kms, needed a tail light, brakes and four tires that they are absorbing. Crazy amount for trade, couldn't believe it.

Not sure how many pages back my post is, but I picked up a 2021 BTS about 2 weeks ago. I ended up at almost exactly 20% MSRP, that included the $1,500 bonus cash.
MSPR was $58,495
Invoice was $54,970
Sell Price was $46,800 before TTL and trade

I bought the week of Thanksgiving. I checked the dealer site this month and they are selling similar rigs for almost $2k more this month it appears.

So I'd say yours is a pretty good deal. Might be a little more room but depends on if it's the pickup for you. The BTS are very nice. What options?

First time posting here. Thanks for all the info in this thread. Just bought my truck yesterday. Here are the stats:

2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn - Built to Serve, Big Horn Level 2, Sunroof, Bed Utility Group, Ramboxes, 3.21, 12in Uconnect, under seat storage.
MSRP: 58,520
Internet price: 52,450 (includes employee pricing discount of $6070)
Nitrogen: 199
Wheel locks: 149.95 (I argued about this and the nitrogen, but they wouldn't take it off)
Admin fee: 699
Total sale price: 53,497.95 (8.5% off MSRP)

Discounts:
Military: 500
Ram pop-up: 1500
Bonus cash: 500
Dealer discount: 1000
Additional mark down: 1678.29 (was able to talk him down to 50k out the door)

Total before TTL: 48,319.66 (17.4% off MSRP)
Tax, Title, Registration: 1680.34
Total out the door: 50,000 (14.5% off MSRP)

I feel like I got a good deal. Finance office tried to sell me an extended warranty for around $2800. I said no. They dropped it to about $1800. I still didn't buy it. Hope I don't regret that. Just remember that you can negotiate the warranty price. I financed through Chrysler at 4.94% with an 800+ credit score. The 0% interest would have removed most of the discounts. I'll just re-finance with my credit union in a couple months.

Hope this info helps.

That's a great deal. Welcome to the forum. I wasn't able to trade in my previous vehicle as I purchased from a dealership a long ways away and had to fly in and drive back. Still managed to get out of my previous truck privately with a small amount of cash in my pocket.

@KD7ENM Congrats on the purchase, the BTS is a great package. Pop over to the Member Trucks sub forum, there’s a BTS thread there with some good info and posts. And don’t forget to tell us which color! Silver or Anvil.

Thanks for replying. Options are:
Level 1 Safety - $595
Bed Utility Grp - $945
Built to Serve - $2795
Tech 2 - $2500
V8 eTorque - $1995
Sunroof - $1495
Multi Function Tailgate - $995
12" Display - $2095

Don't really need 12" display and sunroof but cannot find vehicle with Bed Utility, Multi-function tailgate and Rambox without the display and sunroof.

Does he beat the most often used discounters?

Extended Warranty/Service Contacts

These two sites have the lowest prices on Extended Warranty/Service Contacts.
Chrysler Factory Warranty - Currently forum sponsors - LINK
Zeigler Factory Plans - Usually the lowest price with code PAYINFULL - LINK

Any expect the incentives to increase come next week (mid-month)? Looking at a couple of deals but not impressed so far.

I had a local dealer email me today. Their message was that Chrysler has added $1,000 bonus in addition the the Employee Pricing. They were sending it out to people that were looking at them for purchase, but didn't. I don't know if this is a gimmick for them to take $1,000 off old deals or if it is widespread to all dealers.
