Price negotiated from MSRP

Listen bro, do you always speak to people like this? You seem to like offending people from the safety of your computer.

I DID buy local and got $19k off MSRP on a ‘24 Laramie. Now run along and save your rudeness for your neighbor’s which probably love you.
Yess I do. What you see is what you get. Congrats, Welcome to the ram family. My first ram I bought in '18. I got 15k off. That was when Ram wanted to beat Chevy for 2nd place. And every dealer and their mother was discounting. Jan 2021 comes along and I total my truck. I go back to my local dealers and you know what they tell me. So mind you ram isnt throwing around discounts like they where in 2018. MD is advertising 15k off limiteds. Thought, hey too good to be true right? This is right before ram starts jacking up their prices. Cause if I would have gotten this truck 6 months later it would have been priced. 5-7 grand higher. So I got my truck and a great deal even with shipping. Here's the kicker when every local dealer was charging a added charge 2 years ago for cars. MD Was still giving out substantial discounts. I bet your local dealer wasn't doing that? If you were to do a poll, everyone that's bought from MD. How satisfied they are. I wouldn't be surprised if it would be high 90 percentile.

Btw, on your '24. Congrats on it. Great truck. MD. Was taking 17k off on '25 just recently.

So I ask you. What's your purpose here? I don't know what I'm going to get with my local dealer. I definitely know what I'm going to get with MD

Back to the topic at hand - with incentives (nothing that average joe can't get) I got around $15k off MSRP for a Tungsten at a dealership in south central PA. I was briefly inquiring with Anthony MD, who was able to do around $3k better than my dealership at the time I ordered the vehicle (IIRC), but elected to purchase within 2 hours of home only because of personal comfort. I'd say that both are very good options - MD if you want a better price or are closer to LA, or if you're in a similar situation to me the Mechanicsburg dealership (Faulkner) is better. I can't say enough positive things about Faulkner. Best dealership experience I've ever had, by far. And I know there are COUNTLESS excellent experiences with MD. I doubt I'll ever buy a vehicle from a dealership other than those two.

Good to know, I am in NE PA and would prefer to buy somewhat more local. I may check them out, do you have a salesperson you recommend?

Yes, go with Craig keeler. Tell him Pete with the tungsten recommended him. Best sales guy I've ever worked with hands down.

I just purchased a Laramie l12 days ago from Gillman in Houston. Justin Chappa was my sales rep and was absolutely phenomenal. I've bought more vehicles outside of my home market than I have in it so it was a breath of fresh air to find a local dealer that I can build a relationship with.

With that being said, MSRP on my Laramie Lvl 2, Night Edition, Pano Roof, Power Steps , Tri-coat white and a few other goodies was 76,405. With 1k in positive equity and paying tax on the trade difference, I was at 59,935 out the door.

I was talking to Shelton at Mark and was totally prepared to go out there and buy the identical truck to what I bought at Gillman. I happened to find the truck at Gillman after initiating talks with Mark Dodge. Gillman came within $500 of the truck at Mark so it just wasn't really worth the drive out there to me at that point. I actually walked from Gillman the first time that I was there because they were 2k higher and couldn't figure out how Mark was selling the truck for what they were, they wanted my business though and fought for it. But for $500 more, I ended up with an overall exceptional experience at a local dealer that I won't hesitate to go back to for future sales. This is the 20th something vehicle purchase that I have made since 2008 and one of the best to date.

At the end of the day, it's a numbers game. Gillman gave me the experience and price that I was after as did Mark. I won't hesitate to purchase at either of them in the future until given a reason not to.

Gillman was a terrible experience for me but that was 5 years ago my experience at Mark was excellent

I think I have a great deal, but it's missing the bed group I really want- 75115 MSRP, my price is 56115 after 9500 in rebates,. This doesn't include TTL No dealer ad ons- (Laramie night edition) Should I close before new year or do we think pricing will stay about the same....really wanted that bed package! looks a lot cleaner than other spray ins from what I've seen-

$75K down to $56K is a great reduction. If you've checked a few/several dealers to find your “perfect” truck and not seen it then this one seems pretty good.
A new thread from MD on RHO’s in stock shows $1K in “holiday discounts”.
Are you getting that?

6500 that's on all laramies, 2k ford conquest, 1k ram bonus, so 9500 total rebates, I think that's all that's available in my zip-

I saw on my local dealer that end of year discounts cease tomorrow, Jan 2.
Hope you can get something ordered soon.

Several of the well known youtube automotive guys are claiming that Stellantis has announced 35% off, but is it true?

One guy claims the board is "voting on it". I have no idea how he would obtain that insider information and he does not give a source. The other channels are parroting what he claims. I am hopeful but have serious doubts.

No. And it all started with the biggest click baiter of them all.

35% Really? There's a catch. I called a Ram dealer in Los Angeles today. He claimed the deal is evolving and not close to 35% yet, and only applies to lower trims, possibly not Laramie and above.

Cutting to the chase, he said on a $63k Big Horn msrp, Stellantis would today give about $6500 and the dealer about $6500, so there's just $13,000 off on $63,000. While a good discount it's Nowhere near 35%.

As we say down in the country, it seems "There's some dog in this cat," so we'll have to wait and see if the 35% or any big discount ever materializes.

Maybe in a few weeks this may become fully rolled out, however at present there seems to be no such thing as 35% off, and may never be.

It doesn't even make business sense. The best deals today are what, around 23%? Why make such a drastic jump? Dreaming...
