Two days after delivery I was looking on the dealers website and I noticed a $2,000 Ford conquest rebate that ran from 10/24 to 10/31 - I believe they extended this. I raised a bit of a stink because I did not sign the purchase agreement until 10/28 and If I was told about this incentive I would have voided the agreement and drafted a new one - maybe not bought the truck. No other incentives changed to my knowledge.
It seemed random that they introduced that incentive mid-month. My additional $2,000 rebate was approved by Stellantis.

$17,000 off of MSRP

My local smaller town RAM dealer is offering a total of $11.5K off msrp on 2024 Bighorns (National standalone 15% off msrp plus dealer discounts), $6500 off msrp on any Laramie trim and above 2025 1500 in stock, $7500 off of 2025 Tradesman or Bighorns, $10K off any 2025 3500 in stock but only on sales through Dec 2nd. They've finally started to come off their minimal discount pricing.

A major city RAM dealer 5 hours away (Raleigh) is offering $13.8K off any in stock 2025 1500.

Still better to shop discount dealers like Mark, they currently have $16-17k off 2024 Laramie and Limited 1500's and $16K off in stock 2025 1500's, even if you end up paying roughly $600-1K for transportation if it's needed.

All posted information based on dealer website ads on 11-23-2024.
If you want a Jeep Cherokee I've seen up to $18.5 off msrp... Maybe at $30K off I will get one...

Too many apples to oranges comparisons, ie. negative equity rollover, dealer add-ons, F&I extras such as paint, lights, interior protection, GAP coverage, pre-paid service, extended factory warranties, financing percentages and duration of loan. Then there's that rare color/trim/model combination, parts/accessories added into the deal...
Here's an example. When I bought my 2019, there were over 15 black interior Limiteds at the dealer. There was 1 ivory.
What did the wifey want? You guessed it.
There went my negotiating power. The deal I got I had to be "happy" with cause I wanted her "happy". The % off msrp wasn't the #1 consideration.
It's getting to the point that unless a person buys "clean" with cash (and who does that), comparing most deals is tough.
Ultimately as long as "you" are happy with the deal, then life is good.

Not really apples and oranges compassions as you mention with all the dealer ad-ons. Those you choose (or not). If they force it just walk.

I believe this exercise was “what did you pay off MSRP” which is the starting point for most buyers. Invoice and all just convolutes the matter as you’ll never know their “true cost” is with Stallantis to dealer cost, hold back, quarterly incentives etc.

That said and in my case 2024 Laramie HEMI Sport loaded with an MSRP of $71,250. Dealer discount $9500 + plus another $9500 from the factory in form of coupons the dealer could use at its discretion. Total discount off MSRP $19,000 for a net selling price of $52,240 plus tax and dmv. No dealer ad-ons above that.

Now, if anyone has shopped for any brand truck after Covid prices have risen dramatically. FAR more so for Ram.

It’s no secret for anyone close to the business that’s Stellantis artificially raised its MSRP to help its dealers make profit during production shortages. FAR more than any other brand.

So, my discount albeit a stellar one was in realty what I should have paid for this truck and I’m happy with that.

One final word many of you know. Never go into the dealer and brag about paying cash during your negotiations. They make money on financing. Keep quite, negotiate your best deal and if you want to pay cash save that for the end. Why anyone would pay cash for a depreciating asset makes no sense to me, but hey to each his own. Good luck and happy thanksgiving to all.

PS. Forgot to mention I purchased in June 2024

Ended up getting 15,500 off a 2025 Ram 1500 Bighorn with an MSRP of 62,985 from Anthony and the team at Mark Dodge easily the best carbuying experience I've ever had my wife didn't even have to leave the house which was nice because she works from home and can't leave during the week 1000004804.jpg

Hopefully RAM will either lower msrps or increase incentives to get “butts in seats” now that Carlos is out… if they don't, some dealers may be out of business…

YT producer “TK’s Garage” is now saying that existing inventory prices/rebates/discounts for 2023 and 2024 dealer stock is very soon to be reduced by “up to 40%”. Be great if it is true.

“In today's video I talk about stellantis possibly cutting prices on existing inventory by as much as 40 percent as they work hard to blow past their 100,000 vehicle inventory sale targets to limit the inventory sitting on dealer lots. Will this work? Will stellantis hit their benchmarks?
Let's discuss this in the comments”

He also posted a video saying that RAM 2500 and 3500 production will be moved back to the US, according to the Detroit Free Press. (Due to the tariff threats)
Cant get the YT links to copy but you can find them.

Not a fan of that light grey but with the night edition it sure looks sharp.
Since they stopped the darker grey, this may be my new color. :D

What was the OTD price and what was the cost to register the vehicle within your state?
Also, since it was purchased remotely, were you able to test drive the newer engine locally before purchasing?

OTD was 49997 on the truck I added some things in F & I but there was no pressure at all i actually did not test drive the new Ram before driving it day 1 but so far I don't miss the hemi I'm averaging about 19.5 mpg mostly highway driving

So I’m working on a deal on a Tungsten sticker price $95,185….have them down to $82,080….still have not asked them about trade of my 2021 Limited. Told me price is only good if ordered before end of December.

Wonder if rebates will be better after the new year.

This is to order one not on the lot.

Good deal?

2025 Laramie, SO SST, CC, 4X4 - MSRP $72250, $8000 dealer discount, $5000 total Mfg incentives = $59250 plus TTF.

With incentives, tread lightly and true car discounts I was able to do about $16,000 under MSRP for a $90,505 Tungsten.

Outstanding.
Would be happy to pay $50k OTD for a new truck like that.

The incentives are there. Either directly to customers or thru the dealer. When you look at the same truck at 2 different dealers. One dealer is at 18k off and 1 dealer is at 10k off. I’ll guarantee the dealer at 18k off is still making money. So how much is the dealer at 10k trying to make on 1 single vehicle? Discount wise, I think the pricing problem lies squarely on the dealers shoulders. Either you want to play ball and move vehicles or let the dust build.
