Happy 1st time RAM owner and poster. I got a 2020 RAM 1500 Limited.
MSPR: $67,240
Discount: $57,190
Rebates: $5,500 (RAM $1500 coupon, $500 junker trade in, end of year sale)
Final before TTL: $51,690.
Final after TTL: $55,403.

So 23.1% discount before TTL or 17.4% after TTL depending on how you look at it. Feels better to look at 23%. Either way, I'm happy.

Can you break down your $5500 in rebates?

I think the end of the year helped. They already applied a dealer discount of $7,668 and a 2020 Retail Consumer Cash of $2,500 for $10,168 off the MSRP. I then gave my coupon from RAM for $1500, traded in my $500 junker and told them I needed it lower so they discounted further by $3,500. Technically not rebates on the last bit.

Agreed. Just order it. Lakeland offers 7% below invoice with the Tread Lightly membership and then whatever rebates/incentives are available at the time of delivery.
Does anyone have a contact for Lakeland? Thanks in advance

But I got a better deal at Mark Dodge in Louisiana on my factory order. Guess it depends on what you're buying.

Used 2019 Limited Longhorn (25,331 miles)
Sales Price - $41,399
Negotiated Price - $39,000
Trade In - $16,000
Down Payment - $5,000
Ram Warranty +$2.749
Final Price - $23,301

I should add got this from a Nissan dealer. It was on the lot for 5 months. I kept an eye on it since it first arrived as a trade-in. Spent a lot of time looking before pulling the trigger. I traded in a 2010 Tundra that was a great truck but no creature features like the Larmie. First time Ram owner so we will see how this truck does. I am a life long truck guy. Chevy > Ford > Ford > Tundra > Ram.
Good deal. But you got owned on the warranty. Can you get a refund then buy one from Zeigler? Most mfgr warranties can be refunded a pro rated portion, or full refund within 30 days.

Mike is the one running the promo.
Also, whomever posted their deal was under 14% off msrp before incentives.
That's worse than Lakelands deal.

Kinds sounds like you spoke to the wrong person there.

I actually almost bought a truck from them. Thankfully I didn't.
64K truck, I offered 60K OTD on it. They told me come in and take it - we have a deal.
I get there, they tell me 62K - I walked out.

Just bought a nearly 72K truck for 63K OTD and 0% financing.

Glad I stuck to my guns.
Where?

2021 Laramie
MSRP $65,725

New to this, but looking to get into a 2021 Rebel

MSRP $55,375
Selling price $49,643 + $2,000 rebate
Final price including rebate $47,643

So, they offering $5,732 off of MSRP + $2,000 rebate = $7,732 off MSRP

From the information posted here, seems they could do a bit better...right?

If I calculate things correctly, invoice price is $52,033.

Do you have the build sheet? EP and PP are 5% under invoice / 1%, respectively. If you do EP/.95 you'll get Invoice (or PP/.99).

I'm not sure if invoice is ~.91% across all trims, but if it is:

MSRP 55,375 x .91 = INV 50,391.25
50,391 x .99 = FCA Affiliate Price 49,887.34
50,391 x .95 = Employee Price 47,871.69.

Determine if your state taxes the total amount of the vehicle BEFORE rebates or AFTER. Then add in fees / TTL. Subtract rebates either before or after taxes.

You can build the same truck in Edmunds and it should give you invoice too.

You can join the FCA Affiliate group on Tread Lightly ( https://www.treadlightly.org/about-us/faqs/ ), but you cannot use the FCA Affiliate w/ the current Employee Pricing incentives (or so I was told at the dealership). FCA Affiliate gives you PP pricing, and *I think* $59 maximum dealer fee. It's like a "no haggle" program. Which then the dealers will not haggle lower than that price. (They may, but I had a dealer outright stop offering once I mentioned FCA... but I'm in South Florida. Every dealer here is bananas.)

It appears that your offer is a little under 1% of invoice. Some dealerships offer 6-7% under invoice, then factor rebates.

If my numbers are accurate, you can do better. But, adjust your determination on the true "invoice" of the truck.
