15% off msrp is 9k off a 60k truck. How is that a good deal? I see 60k msrp Rams for under 50k all day without even trying hard. Or am I misunderstanding you?
15% off msrp BEFORE rebates is a good deal. On my particular order the 15.5% equals 11K(which is dealer discount) and if the rebates were to stay the same for me (6k on a Limited in my region), the total discount would be 17K. That is over 24% off of MSRP, on an ordered truck that is a very good deal. However we don't know what the factory rebates will be at time of delivery. I am obviously hoping for more than 6K, which in the present economy is very likely.

15% dealer discount with 0% financing is a good deal on my area. Not many dealers I spoke to even give 10% dealer discount.

How do you get one of these? I'm supposed to be purchasing my truck from the dealer tomorrow.

If you are on the east coast I would reach out to Craig Benner at Koons CDJR. They are located in the Washington D.C. area. You can order a truck from him for 8% below dealer invoice, which is roughly 15.5% off MSRP and you, would still get any applicable rebates at time of delivery. You can also get an additional $1K USAA or $1k Penfed discount. You cannot get both USAA and Penfed, just one. Based on your MSRP the approximate price before rebates would be $49,585, $48,595 if using Penfed or USAA discount, plus $799 processing fee. I reached out to a few local dealers to see if they could come close but I haven't heard back from any of them. So I guess I got my answer. They will also pick you up at Reagan or Dulles airport. So it looks I will be taking a road trip with my new Limited and hopefully the rebates will be even better than they are now. Consider selling your car to Carmax or Autobuy, We Buy Any Cars.com etc.. I sold my last car to Carmax and it was a very easy experience and I got more than a fair price.
Let me know when you are ready to sell your car. I am interested

Did some shopping this week and a local dealer has a built to serve edition 2020 1500. Has 3.92 gear and a 33 gal tank. Perfect truck for me but has etorque that I could care less about. I have a old 07 xl f150 to trade and am not expecting more than 2500-3000 for it. I am holding firm at 37k + TTL. Should I be holding out for more? Or does this sound like a good deal? I am also using a company affiliate code/discount.

Selling price: 52,450
Discounts: 3,514
Rebates: 7,000
Adj price: 41,936

Trade: 3,587
Price: 38,349
Doc fee: +299
Non tax fee +2.50
Additional discount: 500

Total price before TTL: 38,150.50

Dealer discount is way low, I'd hold firm.

68k Laramie that's not a Longhorn? I have to assume that wasn't financed at 0%?
No unfortunately I couldn’t get them to give me the 0%, I’m almost positive I heard the salesman call me crazy when he talked to his sales manager after I asked for 52k.
The trim model is the Laramie 2.

So for not in stock hardly anywhere on east coast (hydro blue color Laramie) factory order trucks - what’s a great price to shoot for - 15% off? Should I email multiple dealers? Say exactly what I want?

If it's the Army green color I would think they would be extremely motivated to offer a good deal. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I don't think that color would be very much in demand. Regardless of color, they can do much better with that dealer discount.

Sticker price was $49,500 for fully loaded Bighorn Crewcab (minus LED lights and bed group). Paid $35,000 after taxes. Put $20,000 down and financed the rest at 1.97%.
Where did you find 1.97%?

Build your truck on Ram.com and email that to Craig Benner at Koons CJDR. He will email you back with the order sheet showing about a 15% discount BEFORE any factory rebates. The rebates can only be applied when you take delivery. If the rebates remain what they are now (I think they''ll probably increase) then you would have about a 24% discount. When you receive the pricing back from Craig send it to your local dealers and see if they can match or come close. If they don't come close enough fly to D.C., get your new Hydro Blue truck and have a road trip home breaking it in with a great big smile on your face the whole way. At least that's what I'm doing. :)
