Just added to my post. Sorry about that. $25.00 is the cost now.Nice - What vendor did you get that from?
Thanks. I've been satisfied with past purchases from themJust added to my post. Sorry about that
Depends on what you are looking for. I have purchased from both, and both have been quality vendors. overlayguy doesn't have hood vinyl for the etorque performance hood emblems, so nice that there is an alternative.Theoverlayguy.com is a fellow 5th gen Ram owner. I took have been happy with previous transactions with Reflective Concepts. Even got them to make me a set of OEM style reflective decals for my Dakota R/T when nobody else was selling them back in 2000. But I'd rather support on of our own.
Kit comes with everything new. No cutting..its made for the new intakeFor those who mentioned cutting the radiator top shroud....I though the kit came with a new top piece so you avoid having to do that?

That’s why I call it my secret shaker…It's such a nice looking intake. Wish my wife wouldn't murder me for getting it.
Is there any drop in protection for your engine using a High Flow Air Filter like the one on the Ram Airflow? I drive in extremely dirty environments on a daily basis and am concerned the higher flow air filter will let more dust through.
That's possible, it would be nice if they had beta ratios for air filters like they do for oil filtersHigher airflow can be from more surface area of the media, not necessarily less filtration.
Does anyone still use the foam diaper that wraps around the standard air filter for extra dust protection offroad?
How is it. I am going to get mine tomorrow for my 2022 Ram 1500 Limited. I can not be more excited. Like a kid in the candy store.Got mine installed at the dealer today. I do have the etorque.View attachment 37526View attachment 37526View attachment 37528
I keep reading these are for off road/competition only, has anyone ever had problems with the dealer when they see them?
That's what I thought but the description always makes it sound like its not for on road use. Since it comes on certain models it must be ok, I would think. They literally come stock on the 1500 GT. My dealer has installed them on trucks of all trim levels. There’s no issue at all.
It's for legal purposes.I keep reading these are for off road/competition only, has anyone ever had problems with the dealer when they see them?
Ok, thanks. Now I just need to find out some more about the actual filter. Think I will ask my dealer how it compares to the regular air filter for passing contaminants. It's for legal purposes.
Can't sell them in CA if it doesn't say that.
