Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

That's why I'm glad I bought a "Topside Creeper" years ago to work on my trucks. Saves my back and especially my chest from leaning on the Radiator shroud!

I had to Google, topside creeper to understand how to use that thing. 🤣 That's genius.

Yeah, I don't know what I'd do without it! It came in real handy years back when I need to do some engine maintenance on a lifted truck I had at the time. It made installing the RAM airflow a breeze... AND, I am seeing a +2mpg increase in the past month!

I generally just get in sideways and put my stomach on the plastic face down...

I didn't know this was a thing.

I'm a little concerned about googling "topside creeper" with safe search turned off.

Anybody make a decal for the big RAM on the radiator top shroud?

I had (still do, but now it's hidden) one for the HEMI on the OEM intake cover.

Can't remember who I got it from but I think a vendor here ... ???

I'm sure you could make you own.
Just get some colored vinyl and an exacto knife.

For those who mentioned cutting the radiator top shroud....I though the kit came with a new top piece so you avoid having to do that?

OK...there have been sever posts throughout this thread mentioning that. Perhaps an earlier version didn't come with the shroud?

Oh, you might be right. I just went back and looked at the most recent post and it was Vararam.

Mine came with a new top piece.

Used the original holes and clips, even had sticker for A/C refrigerant, correct square hole for windshield washer fluid, other holes and cutouts in correct places, etc.

I haven't checked but I bet my gas mileage has dropped, I have become addicted to that engine roar past half-throttle and can't keep my foot out of it 😜

Dave
I wondered about that since I installed mine after my GT exhaust. I can’t hear it over the exhaust bark.

May be easier and look better just to buy a paint pen and color in the RAM. Give the letters a light sanding with 220 and buy a color matched paint pen from Mopar
