Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

After being backordered the replacement air filters are finally in.

Part number 68414387AA

Nice! You order your spare through the dealership? (Forgive me if you stated you were earlier in the thread and I missed it.)

I’ll buy it because I buy what I want when I want it as it helps to keep my sanity lol.

That’s my saying as well, “I do what I want, when I want”. That includes buying sh!t. Haha

Shucks to me that’s the only way that you’re going to enjoy your vehicle..

Would I even notice a sound difference if I also went with an AWE 0FG exhaust.

Yes but if you want to keep a comfortable sound, I suggest the Mopar performance catback.

I’m guessing I must have gotten lucky with the three sets that I’ve owned lol.

Wonder if it works with the E-Torque motor too.

Or the guy at work was unlucky. I'll try to find someone else with one around here.

I liked mine so much till every time my wife made me get rid of one, I would go later and buy another one again. Take in account that my Ram was gutted and completely sound deadened from front to back.

I was under the impression that the awe doesn't sound too loud until you actually step on it. Cold starts excluded.

I know that for the Mopar if you cold start backed near your home, RUN lol….

See that's what I really want to know. If I end up with an exhaust will I even be able to tell there is also an intake under the hood. Because without a tune they are both doing jack all for my performance. So I'm just looking at the sound differences.

Well I had the exhaust and that Mopar air intake but no tune. Had all the sounds, but didn’t feel any real “ punch “ was added.
