Had a picture opportunity so I figured I'd take advantage. Looking forward to the new wheel setup within the next couple weeks. But our Canadian winters will be putting a hold on actually getting them mounted on the truck

Bought a sport w orp and almost all options today. Won't get it until next week but am looking forward to the new truck.

Dealer gave me trade in for the rims of $600 so I upgraded to Black Rhino Selkirks.

What is everyone doing to Black out the badges? Replacing with new ones or painting?

I have to say, that's a beautiful truck, and in addition, I'm envious of your garage as well ;-)
Haha thanks! Just like every garage, thought I built it big enough and now it’s to small!

I havnt seen one around like mine yet. And to be sure, I color matched my badging and gloss blacked my running boards. Really happy with it. Only thing left is black out the alloy on my rims. Everytime I look at it I find something else to do. Just love making it my own
The color matched badging looks awesome. Such a subtle change makes a huge difference. Wish I trusted myself to do that (I don't).

Here's a few pictures of my new 2019 Ram 1500 in Delmonico Red the night I took delivery.

Here's my Blue Streak Laramie Sport that has been de-badged. I also just did a muffler swap with a Spintech 9000. Plan on getting the Corsa catback when it comes out, lowering the rear 2" to level it out, and probably putting some 22/24 inch wheels on it.

See signature for details.

Great truck. Glad I went sport with lift vs Rebel. Just fits what I was looking for a bit more.

Now to decide what to do with the emblems.... Black...or chrome.

How’s was it masking off the inserts? What did you use to paint them? Looks great.

Thx bro. Appreciate that. These inserts weren't the worse I've ever masked. They dont have real hard corners so some fine line blue tape, what I used, just rolled around the edges nice and clean. I scuffed it all first, then masked the inserts, painted the black and removed the masking and cleared all of the wheel. Came out real clean. I use all ppg products. I'm a mobile painter for dealerships so I have all the equipment and I make all my own colors. But you can get a good black 3m color in an aerosol and a nice aerosol clear and do it ur self too. Always encourage trying something out. If ya got some kind of panel or something lyin around best to do a little practice before the point of no return on ur actual wheels.
