Here’s mine.
Man your truck looks great. I just picked up mine, going back and forth on which fuel rims, I like yours as well as another style. Did you sell our OEM rims and tires or did you keep them?

I sold my rims and tires. I was thinking about keeping them but decided to not have them sitting around.

Loving this 5th gen ram. I know everyone is blacking out their badges I wanted to do different. So I'm color matching em. Tried it with the tailgate ram first and love it. Gotten a lot of good remarks from people seeing it. Like telling em i painted it myself. Now a lot more badges to go. And soon want to color match the hood badges and clearcoat all the vents on the sport hood. Think that will give it a cool finished look

I really like what you did with the tailgate Ram's head. Can you describe what you used and what process?

Thx. Basically masked off it from the tailgate, scuffed the chrome with 180 grit paper first then a medium scuff pad. Then cleaned it with wax and grease, masked the rubber around the ram (that was the worst part, getting in all those small crevices) then sprayed with adhesion promoter, paint, and 3 coats of clear. Many say dont paint over chrome, but I've done this a few times and its held up great.

Nice! As far as the paint, where did you get the paint to match?

I am a painter. I do spot repairs for dealerships on location. I make all my own paints. Local paint suppliers could make ya up some. And even make it an aerosol, if ya want to tackle it. Take ur time and you could do a decent job

Appreciate the info! It will be on my list for spring when the weather here is decent.

Did anyone max out their Laramie with options instead of going with a limited? Trying to see if I’m crazy or not. My dilemma is I want a luxury truck inside with a tough exterior. The chrome trim /mirrors etc on the limited is just not me. When I went to the dealer told them the spec Laramie I wanted they said ‘why not Just get a limited it’s the same price’.

Because I don’t like chrome. That’s why.

I went this route as well, loaded Laramie. Limited had a couple things I just didn't want/need/like including look of the headlights, wheels, I did not want air suspension as well.

Just a touch in full lock.
I just got my tuff country 2" leveling kit in. I went ahead with the fuel rims, going to do the level tomorrow. I had 295/65 ridge grapplers on my last ram with level kit, but I am considering 295/60. same offset, but not sure if I will get the same clearance as you since your lift is 3.5" You got any suggestions?
