Did anyone max out their Laramie with options instead of going with a limited? Trying to see if I’m crazy or not. My dilemma is I want a luxury truck inside with a tough exterior. The chrome trim /mirrors etc on the limited is just not me. When I went to the dealer told them the spec Laramie I wanted they said ‘why not Just get a limited it’s the same price’.

Because I don’t like chrome. That’s why.

Currently considering Laramie Sport over the Limited due to the air-ride...you can't delete it off of the Limited, which blows my mind since you can add or delete it to every other trim level. Much more difficult to lift the air-ride, and I see a nasty amount of repairs down the line. You can get painted bumpers on the Limited though, the grill will just be chrome. 5k less for a maxed out Laramie.

When based upon your sheet I lookit up my way, those are the wheels that come with them. Now I definitely see your point about the website, but sadly as many of us have found out, that site is very flaky !!!

(I deleted my first post by accident)
My truck was just delivered to my dealer in FL. I am still in Europe but I believe it came with the wrong wheels, any advice or guidance?

But there are others on this thread that have the ones from the “stock” image on the website, right?

Yes. I have the Sport wheels. I assume it was a production shortage that caused some of the other wheels to be chosen. I like both so I wouldn't have been disappointed with either.

There are pics in this thread that show the correct 20" Sport wheels and the substituted ones.

So, mine are correct, just a substitution for the original sport wheels? (Which I prefer)

I like both also. I do prefer the original sport ones I have. As I don’t have much chrome on the truck. Those inserts in wheels like the other small chrome around truck gives that just enough pop for me.
Idk what they could do for you. I’d myself would def say something about it. Hopefully they can get you something else you wanted but didn’t get on the truck. Step sides, truck liner for examples

Somehow the wheels (WRB) got ordered as a separate line item on the order sheet, instead of what should have defaulted with the sport appearance package (WRJ).... now what?

What wheels are those and what % tint did you go with?
I got 15% in front and also 15% over the rest of the back which was just the factory colored glass they use that comes on the truck. Makes the back to where you cant see in it. And the wheels are dropstars 20x12

When you order the Sport Appearance package that comes with the 20" sport wheels, when the 20"x 9" Premium paint polished wheels is selected it puts the Laramie Wheels on in place of the 20" sport wheels.

Side Note: I love the truck you ordered as i have the same one on order (Granite, Sport, Offroad). Mine is stuck in KZS status since February 4th and has estimated railcar date of March 13th now.

Good taste! Ha. That’s the thing though I didn’t want those wheels, the dealer must have selected that option in addition to the sport appearance package, and I didn’t notice the different code for the wheels....

I would try and work with the dealer to swap out the correct rims for you. I personally prefer the sport rims so that would make me very angry if the other ones came on it from dealer mistake.

That’s what I’m trying, I have over a month till I can pick it up, so plenty of time.
