It will not work on 2025 1500s. This is the 2019 to 2024. I'm not sure if there is an option yet to put it on the 2025. @Jimmy07 might know.

Most likely. The CHMSL is the same as previous years, but the mirror for 2025 is new part number- 68594726AA.
Not sure if there will be any proxi alignment issues after install, since there currently no way to program to keep auto dim.

I once wanted to try a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee digital mirror on a Ram 1500 and it didn't work but I wonder if it was the camera that wasn't from a Jeep and I used the 1500 one or because it was already a can fd

If I get BCM replaced by the dealer( swapping 2020 BCM with 2023) and they program it, will I still lose dimming of sideview mirrors?

Did you have luck with the dealer programming a 2023 BCM for you? Just curious how difficult/willing they are to do it.

Question, still gathering pieces to do my install and I ordered this mirror - Mirror with 2 Video Input Channel, no FCW or ACC - 68519111AA.

When I look at the mirror that is current installed that I am removing it has the module on it that is some type of sensor but there is no opening on the front plastic housing for it to show through or on the front windshield. The part number for the mirror is 68312206AA.

Can someone ID this and deterime what it’s for and if I ordered the incorrect digital mirror? My ‘24 doesn’t have FCW or ACC.

Yes,I do…. But this sensor is behind the plastic housing for the mirror and doesn't have clear line of sight forward.

That’s the sensor for auto high beams. You’ll lose that feature by installing the DRVM, since there’s no such thing as a DRVM that has the auto high beam sensor.

The 23 and 24 are different from 21-22, the 23 is 3.0 and works with an image processing module while the 21 did not require it, it was just a mirror and camera.

You can do that. You’ll get a message in the cluster on each startup that says rear view mirror unavailable, but it goes away after a few seconds, and everything works as it should.
