I know forums are usually people having issues and looking for some help but I'm looking at buying a used 19 Laramie sport that is loaded like a limited minus airide. I drive about 50,000 miles a year all highway. I never buy new as they depreciate so fast. Currently driving a 17 Lexus GX460 that is just solid little suv. Smart money would keep it and drive the wheels off but I kind of need a truck plus just much more room in back for when taking customer out for dinner. I need to quit reading thru all these threads. UGH. I know there is a lot of good rams out there. I almost bought a 19 ford limited about same price but the ride and interior on the even laramie was much nicer.

Well, in a normal market, you can get up to 25% off the MSRP, especially during the 3rd quarter. My Rebel had a MSRP of $53,000, I got it for $39,000. Factor in lower interest rates on new vehicles, and there is a very good chance it's financially better to buy a new full size truck than a used one.

In no point during my purchase was I ever upside down on my loan, even though I put zero down and financed it all. However, this depends on having strong credit for low apr and getting the best incentives. But historically, it's been easy to get great deals on new trucks due to their artificially inflated MSRP and large incentives. This is a big factor for trucks having the best in the industry resale and low depreciation.

This market right now is different, as even used vehicles are overpriced right now and very low factory/dealer incentives on new vehicles. When my 2.5 year old truck is worth over $5,000 more than what I originally paid for it, that's not normal. But in a year or two, things should settle down.

48k miles. Pretty happy with truck (19 limited) but have had some problems.
1) Exhaust leaks. Both gaskets after the cat have failed and had to be replaced. First under warranty second TBD
2) air ride is throwing an occasional code for the control module but clears upon vehicle restart. Repair TBD, haven't had it looked at yet
3) water pump leaking coolant from weep hole. we'll see about that if they warranty it.
4) rear brake pads worn out at 50k.
5) Factory 22" tires were bald at 24k. I know factory tires don't last very long but that was terrible.

2020 Laramie Longhorn 4x4 EcoDiesel air suspension. 8k miles, 2.5years, absolutely zero issues. Only use it on highway trips or when hauling family/friends/cargo, try not to use it around town. Keep it covered, and on a Noco battery conditioner (Noco 10 Genius). Whoever gets it next will think they've died and gone to truck heaven ;-)

2019 with 38k on the odometer, nothing but issues.
-Leaks that can't be found or fixed (started under factory warranty), paid twice out of pocket for "diagnosis fees" and once for "leak specialist"...nothing found
- carpet on passenger side footwell smells mildewy despite always trying to let it dry out
-Popping, clunking noise in front end when turning sharp like pulling into parking spot
- brought to dealer, dealer had it for 3 seconds and said its my trailer hitch moving in the receiver, Charged $125 diagnosis fee for literally not even 2 minutes of work, go to pull out of parking spot and still clunking. Walk back inside and get told it'll be another $125 diagnosis fee
-Exhaust mount broke, destroyed gasket, Not covered under extended warranty
-Passenger side power fold mirror no longer power folds, Covered under extended warranty, waiting on parts
-Fuel fill neck not letting fuel pass (keeps tripping the gas pump like its full), Covered under factory warranty, waiting for parts
-Active air dam keeps turning on check engine light, Covered under recall, waiting for parts
-Loud, low tone noise playing thru the noise cancelation speakers, the noise is such a low tone that it hurts my ear drums, have to restart truck and it usually goes away for a few days

Other issues I've had are just dealer related, I had a Toyota before the ram and the dealer service was out of this world good, So far every ram dealer I've been to has either nearly destroyed my truck or tried to bend me over when it came time to pay

The issue I'm having with my 2019 RAM Laramie Longhorn is this "device not supported" message pops up on my 12' screen even when nothing is plugged into the media hub USB ports beneath the screen. The dealer first stated I needed to update the software but when I went in to get that done I was told I did not need a software update. This is a constant nuisance, and I want to resolve this issue pronto. Are any other owners having this issue and have a legit fix?

I got mine to work, but it was very convoluted. It's not an issue with Homelink so much as the garage opener that came with my home. I'll link the video that worked for me when I'm off work.
Did you ever post that video? I don't see it and can't get Homelink to get signal from remote.

I had leak issues on my 19. They replaced my antenna and 3rd tail light and it didnt help. I ended up putting a thick bead of RTV around the 3rd tail light and it stopped.

My 12" inch screen had to be replaced as I would get those message sporadically and it would try to update but never update. Basically it would restart every 5 minutes. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty from fidelity and it covered the replacement of the screen. Which was 1400 dollars. Mine is a 2019 rebel. My dad had 2019 as well that was replaced.

Cooolant bleeder hose was not connected, but no symptoms until 100 miles post delivery, when the engine compartment erupted in a cloud of coolant steam. Now it is stuck in the shop waiting on a replacement generator that is backorderd for 2 weeks! @RamCares I want my truck back!

Bought my new to me 2019 limited in October of 2022. So just a little under a year for my ownership.

A/c sucks! It gets cold but blows like crap cranked up to 7.

Dash is bubbling so I installed ceramic all around.

My fold out mirrors gears are gone and when I try to use the function to fold them in it’s a nightmare.

One of my DRL accent lights on the passenger side doesn’t work.

Also the leather on my door panels are bubbling on both front passenger and driver side just as the dash is.

I pray nothing else major f’s up. I have an extended warranty but usually have terrible luck getting things covered under warranty.
