Change to turn signals in 2023 MY?

Same problem here with my '23. If I make a normal turn (left turn) it usually doesn't shut off. If I make a more drastic turn, it will turn off. Figured I'll wait until it's ready for it's first oil change to take it to the dealer. Though I feel like they're going to tell me it's normal or that they can't reproduce the problem. We'll see. At least I have many dealers to choose from in the area. Probably 5 dealers within 30 minutes.

There is a recall for the turn signals stalk.

I just wanted to add my 2023 blinker stock seems to be defective from the factory. I did notice it was difficult to just bump to get the three flashes for changing lanes without activating the detent and having it stay on. Additionally when I use my left turn signal it does not cancel after the turn, it sticks and I have to manually push it back to center every time. I wonder if they're having quality issues with the 2023 turn signal stocks.

I'm going to have them take a look at it the next time I drop it off for service.

Not a major issue but something to complain about.
Did you ever happen to get a resolution to this? I have the same issue on my 2023 1500 Limited. I found another forum for TRX's that seem to mention a recall notice NHTSA Campaign Number 23V799000, but when I searched my VIN on the NHTSA site it did not return any hits. Have not gone to dealer yet, but frustrated nonetheless as this was a lot of money for a truck. Got the truck in August 2023, noticed problem early on, within a few thousand miles, but was inconsistent-- seems to have gotten worse over last few months. Still under 10k on the odometer now.

You are still under factory warranty, not sure why the hesitation to take it to the dealer for repair. Even if there isn't a recall

Some people need online reassurance. The amount of people that say "I see it on a forum and its common", is absolutely crazy.

Yes, I took it to the dealer and mentioned it and they replaced the blinker switch and clock spring with zero hesitation. I also had my blower motor start to make a growling noise when i turned my AC on high and took it back to the dealer a second time where they put in a new fan motor assembly with no issues as well.

Having anything go wrong with the truck is annoying but those two issues were resolved without issue.

Seems like the problem is now happening again after having the part replaced last year. Hoping to figure out if it is all the same issues as last time and see if the dealer can replace again. Anyone else have this issue again after a replacement?

Mines been flawless since the replacement.

My biggest issue now is transmission problems. I'm getting intermittent hard shifts and grinding noises when taking off from first. I have a dealer appointment tomorrow.

Are these when you let off the accelerator? Some of us have been having "thud" like feelings when letting off the accelerator. I'm also battling a rumble type feeling when idling that I can feel in my seat, the famous clunk sound (though I made it better with some different parts but it's still there occassionally) and a vibration when going down the road at varying speeds. My local tire shop has balanced my wheels and tires multiple times and swear that's not the problem. Dealership of course says they don't feel or hear any of these concerns when I take it in. This may be my last Ram once this lease is up unfortunately.

All of my transmission noises are from a dead stop, after I have been stopped for a moment like when the start stop engages and I'm sitting for a bit then when I go to take off it makes a grinding noise then slams into gear. It's either slamming into first gear trying to get the truck moving or immediately trying to shift into second gear and grinding.

Oh ya, I'm not experiencing that. Add it to the list. Seems every brand has some type of transmission issue, especially with newer, 1-2 year old vehicles.

Picked up mine earlier today. Switch and loop replaced, Mopar part number 68545657AB.
I can feel the difference using it from left to right turns, but frankly… mostly highway driving on the way to a game/home.
So more city traffic/work tomorrow. So far, so good.
Obviously under factory warranty so no question, replace.

EDIT
Quite a bit more city driving today. Several turns in my normal route to work, lunch, etc., that I know have tripped it up and not cancelled prior, it now cancelled fine.
Crazy how the mind is trained so easily. Michigan Lefts (turn arounds) had me always reaching to turn it off.. now, and so far, fine.

Have an appointment on Friday to have my replacement replaced - hopefully 2nd time is a charm.

I just wanted to say my replacement is still working great. I'm hoping your 2nd replacement is a permanent solution.

So Murphy's law took over and the signal issues seemed to magically disappear on my way to the dealer today - perhaps because I've been driving around with my auto highbeams enabled for several weeks? I dropped off the truck at service and then walked over to sales to chat with my salesman and sales manager and look at the new models etc. As I was then leaving through service to grab my rental I noticed the tech and service advisor were in my truck so I checked-in and talked with the tech to explain the situation. Long story after seeing I had the switch replaced last August he noticed there have been 2 part number updates since then which to him indicates a known issue. They didn't have the newest part number in stock and it is on backorder but they ordered it and will install under warranty once it arrives. I am glad I have a long relationship with sales and service at the dealership and they treat me well so hopefully it will be repaired for good when that part finally arrives.

I just received a re-call notice for non-cancelling turn signal for my '23 RAM 1500.

I took my '23 in for this a couple weeks ago. They ended up replacing the clock spring and didn't change out the multifunction switch. I was skeptical, but it is fixed now.
