Cell Phone Mount

Add me to the proclip bandwagon. I use a Bluetooth app to control my light bars. The ProClip brackets out the phone in the perfect spot to turn my lights on/off quickly.

Super easy install.
I bet you don't even need that sticky tape based on how that snaps into the dash. I like it!

Have you looked into CarPlay2Air? It is a wireless adapter for CarPlay. I use and it works great.
I just got one, and the only complaint I have is while it's plugged in, even if I am on the Radio, it wants to take over the Media. So I have to unplug it. If Am going to have to plug-unplug the adaptor I mind as well use the cord ;-)

Good eye! The blue tooth app on my phone is an extension to those switches which is through my Trigger 4 plus controller.

Here’s the video on that controller and a screenshot of my digital switches. The app also gives me the ability to turn any circuit into strobe mode which is helpful when driving behind your wife and you feel the need to annoy her.

The wireless light bar control may be one of the best upgrades I did to my truck.

Which CAI are you running?

Just curious why, with CarPlay (albeit wired), so many want the phone held with the proclip? I've got wireless CarPlay in my 911 and my phone never leaves my pocket as I can do everything through the infotainment center. I've just ordered my truck, so admittedly, no hands on with this vehicle. What am I missing......or is it just user preference? Seems like a phone stored down in the console with wired CarPlay one could use the 12 uconnect to do most anything?? Thanks!
Sometimes the obvious questions are the toughest ones to answer, lol. This thread seems to be a ProClip ad. I love the iphone craddle that is in this truck and with the wireless CarPlay dongle, I dont even wanna or have to see my phone. My take is the power of habit that is making all these posters buy a phone holder. This is one of the more entertaining threads along with the one discussing why to use the cruise control over the adaptive cruise control. 😂

For cell I have a RAM Universal X-Grip Cell Phone Holder with Double Socket Arm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DUK0SZO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_taa_PasFDb0D8BW6T
For mounting I have a RAM Mount Flex Adhesive Base with 1-Inch Ball, this works on my Longhorn "wood" dash on the left site of the cup where 12vdc outlet is
Adhesive pad is enough strong to resist South Texas summer extreme temperatures without problem
Now thats fancy !

Super easy install.

I’m close to ordering this ProClip. My question is....Do you think a permanent gap will be left between the faux leather dash and the plastic trim where the ProClip is inserted into? In other words, if you removed your ProClip, do you thing the faux leather material would be damaged or left gaping?...Thanks

I doubt it, the faux leather will probably retain its shape, some heat would help but I can’t say for sure, never removed mind.

Which one is that
Motrobe. I really like the base mount in that location as it is more in your line of site. This mount works best with right angle charging cables.

I'm very pleased with the mount.

I just installed 2 of these today in my 2021 Laramie work truck, one on each side for myself & coworker. Very easy & clean install, seem pretty good but haven’t had a chance test them out on the road yet.

There’s a verson for the 8.4” screen equipped dash too.
