looking for some insight. anyone with the Proclip, do you know if the course phone holder would fit the ball on the pro clip? i’m considering combining the two. i really like the course phone holder as i’ve used them before but i like the simplicity of the proclip on the side of the vent. any input would be great

Both use a 17mm ball, so you should be good.

I installed the Bullet Mounting Solutions dual holder in my car a couple of days ago. The only issue I had with the install was the double sided tape supplied with the unit it wasn't very tacky. Probably wasn't supposed to be, but I changed it out with some Gorilla Tape and after that all was good. It's an awesome easy to install setup and the blue carbon fiber arms look amazing (carbon fiber ***** here).

The overall build quality is excellent and the finishing is also second to none. Living in the Middle East, I know the plastic parts will eventually deteriorate from the heat over time as temps are scorching most of the year.

Otherwise I highly recommend this holder, bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Haven't taken any photos yet, but I will later on today and post them up.

*update* pics posted.

Oh that I don't know. I don't have a ProClip; I just noticed that they both state they use a 17mm ball. I do, however, have two Course mounts (one for me, one for the passenger). One one side, I use the Course MagSafe mount/charger, while on the other side I use a MagSafe charger from another company. That has a 17mm ball socket, and it works with the Course ball with no problem.

So I think it should work for you, but I can't claim first hand experience, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt.

Well I don't know about proclip specifically, but if you're looking for a simple mount to use with the Course ball, I did exactly that. I bought the cheaper Course mount that had the magnetic plate. Then instead of using the magnet, I attached a Vanmass holder that I got off Amazon for $20. Much cheaper than Course's holder because the Vanmass doesn't have Qi charging, which I didn't want. Best of both worlds. A good mount that's sturdy and discrete and a mount that holds the phone easily and secure.

I went through the full topic and have some more ideas now. I see many use the proclip.

I notice that the phone's battery drains quickly while using the wireless Android Auto, and the RAMcharger is slow + I need to take of the case of my phone or it doesn't fit.

So, for the moment, using a simple magnetic vent mount. I like the fact that I can take the phone on and off so quickly. But sometimes it can happen you take off the phone while the magnetic holder is still on your phone instead of the vent. :D

I came across Quad Lock when googling and seems something good. I didn't see anyone using a Quad Lock mount/case here on the topic. But it also uses a vent mount. So I was wondering if someone has some sort of proclip bracket and using a magnetic wireless charging quad lock mount with it?
Or has the vent mount from Quad Lock and is satisfied with that and is firmly in the vent?

I use the Course magnetic phone mount that sits in the same spot as Shots. Still use the USB as it seems to work more seamless for me vs the wireless plus it stays charged & for what I do for a living & how much I drive it works best for me. I don’t mind seeing a little cord. Another poster on here used the magnetic charging mount & has a clean install. I’ll attach screenshots.

Probably better to do it similar to the screenshots above tucked behind the center bezel. I think I’d rather the cord potentially get pinched than too hot or cold because I’m not sure if it would cause some type of short or not. I don’t trust electricity though either. Lol

OH! I'm sorry! I keep forgetting they still have that jump seat option! I should have known :)
SOME of us have waited 18 months because we require 6 passenger seats.
I HATE that you cannot order a limited with the 6 seat option. I had to special order a Laramie with every option other than heads up display to get bright red with 6 passenger seats. Waiting since October........
