Looking sharp! The goal is to have this truck compete with a raptor in the end This whole corona **** messed up a lot of production tho, fox king Bilstein they will all get it going at some point for their coilovers

If you’re wanting to compete with a Raptor, you’re in the wrong thread IMO... 5100s will fall well short of that goal. I like them for what they are, a decent aftermarket shock to inexpensively lift and provide some better handling off-road, but they definitely aren’t 2.5” shocks with reservoirs.

I actually like the UCAs, think the design from Ram is pretty awesome. Love that I can get a whole new arm for $50. I had Camburg on my Tacoma and they were a very overpriced component which used the same factory ball joint, had many issues with boots tearing and the bushings. Spent a pile of money for what ended up being a high maintenance part.

My plan is to buy ORP springs, Bilstein shocks, Hellwig rear sway bar, and Mopar lift kit UCA's and piece it all together myself.

Lol I know that’s why I said end result like a few years from now , 5100s are a great mod to the ram.

My biggest fear is to come out of there nose high, which has me a little concerned. At the same time, I don't want to lift it to setting #5 (1.7-inches) and still be 1.3 inches from level.

Is the math literally, how much difference is there between the front and the back height, look at the Bilstein chart below, and then pick which setting based on lift height closes the gap to where you want it? If so, it would seem that #7 would still leave me with 0.4 inches of rake, which would be fine.

Has anyone on here gone to #7 and been short of level?

Keep in mind that the closer you get to level the higher the the hood line gets above the tailgate which give the illusion of being nose high to some.

For the reason as pointed out by BigJZ, and that which I saw on some other posts, the lines of the truck are designed for the rake, and look high nosed when leveled. I went with the #5 setting. It gave me 2” versus the published 1.7” (though it may settle a bit). Lines of the truck make it look level, despite there still being a 1-inch rake. See pictures of before and after below. I also included my after fender height measurements as well.

Truck rides great. Wouldn’t have noticed a difference from stock if I didn’t know it was done. Wheels and tires are next.

295/60r20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W on a set of Fuel Rebel 9 wide, +1 offest. Not even close to rubbing... also took off the front bumper valance to make it look more lifted than it really is.

I added the ORP springs and the Bilstein 5100’s on setting #3 to my non-ORP. I assumed I would get a 1” lift from the shock based on the chart and 1” from the springs, but I netted more than that. It was closer to 2.75” at first and it has settled closer to 2.5” after about 100 miles. I’m at about 1/8” rake, but it may settle more once I start driving it again. I’d suggest not going higher than setting #3 unless you are lifting the back as well.

How do you like the tires?

Love them! Ride a little stiffer than stock, but very quiet considering how agressive they look. Not much louder than my old, winter only tires.

Had 5100s installed today. Used the third ring to add 1 inch. Truck has ORP and had 2 inch difference from front to back as built. Now it's 1 inch.

Finally got around to adding the maxtrac 1.5" rear spacer..so as it stands now...setting #6 in front and the 1.5" in back to get some rake back. Very happy with the stance for less than $300 in suspension components

Correct, I think that's true on a lot of trucks, just because the fenders are the same height does not mean it is level or will look level.

Got 5100s installed today on the 4th ring to keep a small amount of rake, but I’m exactly level. Based on a prior response in the thread I’m worried that the aluminum adapter isn’t needed and actually raising me higher than I should be on the 4th ring.

Sorry, I actually only added the ORP springs to the front. I’ll be swapping the rear shocks to bilstein 5100’s as well but leaving non-ORP springs. As far as the front goes, the ride is great.

It has definitely raised you higher that it should be on 4th ring. The lower spring seat is designed to rest on the snap ring how it did on the factory bilsteins.
With that being said I don't think you're over the height of no.5. (Max recommended setting for orp/rebel)
My only worry would be the fit of it, I didn't try the adapters so I'm not sure how the spring seat actually seats on them.
If you're comfortable with the front setup, I would just put a coil spacer in the rear to get your desired rake.

If I decide to move from 5 to 4, I might jack up one side and try fit the spring clamp on, then lower the wheel to see if it relieves enough load to allow me to move the clip without having to disassemble anything.
