Back up camera

Just picked up 2019 ram 1500 Laramie
Great truck for 2 hours. After two hours back up camera and surrounding camera do not work. It just say “check surrounding” without any image. Called dealer, first available appointment is after 4 days.
Any help?

I was having a problem with my backup camera...took a video of it and showed the dealer. They ended up just giving me an entire new radio

My back-up camera would sometimes go blank when I tried to park. Usually a restart of the truck would make it come back on again. This happens randomly, so I haven't warrant a visit to the dealer yet.

Mine was working perfectly fine this morning at 9 am when I left the house. Got back in the truck at 2:30 pm and discovered no back up camera. For the fist time ever I got the black screen, not the famous blue screen. Made 3 stops on the way home but still no back up camera each time . Got home parked the truck in the driveway for about 3 hrs and now the camera is back on like normal..... go figure. Can't wait to see what it does tomorrow.

I just recently purchased a 2019 Dodge Ram Rebel, 3000 miles on it now and a few minutes ago my back up camera screen went completely black and a couple days ago it came up in the cluster Park rear sense braking off.. Anyone know what´s up with my truck as to why it´s all of a sudden doing this

I have almost 3000 exactly and it just started too.

Mine does it again this morning but came back after I drove for an hour. I get the black screen and no error message, just like something covered up the camera.

Mine went out today at 1950 km's. Multiple starts throughout the day and it's still just a black screen when in reverse or if I turn it on while driving. Booked an appointment for when I get back to town on the 25th.

Unfortunately it will start working again by the time you take it in and therefore they can't do anything for you. Take a video of the black screen now.

My truck had been to the dealer 2 times and still have the blue screen. I have called Chrysler 4-5 times and I’m getting no where. This is ridiculous that I paid 60k for a truck and ram can’t get the back up camera working. We are going on 6 months and still no fix in sight.

I have the issue sparingly, my dealer told me there was an update for grand Cherokees and other vehicles to fix this exact issue....but nothing for the Rams yet.

Mine stopped working in the summer and today we're below 90 because it's overcast and it's working again I wonder if the heat had anything to do with it what was the temperature when your cameras failed

The back up camera is connected to the radio so when mine stopped working they actually had to give me a whole new unit including radio

The first time replaced the camera. The last time they said the connections were good after reconnecting. But it still goes to doing the same. And Apple play stopped working for some reason. But came back on when I started it up again. Someone please help me with this issue

Late to the party. I purchased my 2500 Laramie less than two weeks ago. I have about 1800 miles on it and I had the surround camera go away. There was no sign of the controls in the 12" screen and no camera views displayed. After looking on Youtube of one guy with an earlier year, he replaced the fuse for the camera. I checked and reseated mine and it all is working now. It was clear when I looked at the fuse that it was not seated correctly from the factory. I hope this help someone else.

Just had this happen to me tonight - which fuse was it (or which video)? I only saw one about a Pacifica, but neither fuse box lists the PDC our cameras on it so I don't even know where to start.
