No, I had it replaced on Saturday, because I was previously having this issue. Unfortunately, that didn't fix the problem. I have an appointment next week for them to correct my crooked rear doors. So, they will try something else then to fix it.
Curious about your crooked rear doors, could you post further info. Thanks

Limited w/ 3500 miles and backup camera just went blue w/ Check surrounding at top. 2 days ago the whole 12.1 screen went blank, heater turned on full blast and windows wouldn't roll down. If the doors would have locked it would have made a good horror movie scene! The next day everything worked fine??? Smells like some sort of software issue with Uconnect system in general. These "bells and whistles" are a big part of the buying decision for these trucks so hopefully they find a solution to these annoying glitches.

Sorry should read is there a setting to have the full screen with backup camera? Mine is a small view with the 360 on the left side. I would love a full screen view when backing up.

I have a 12 inch screen with surround view as well. Mine does the small view with the 360 on the left side as well. If you click on the backup camera zoom icon furthest to the right it gets rid of the 360 view and expands the backup view. However, you have to click the icon every time to get that to happen.

Does anyone know how to make/ or save that as the default backup view?

With mine the reoccurring theme is: First time out in the truck for the day and when its cold. That's when I get the Blue screen. Afterward it works fine.

Edit: Mine displayed Green yesterday morning so I will be taking it into dealership next week.

My 12" screen did the blue screen of death over the weekend with the message "Check Surroundings". I contacted RAM and they had me do this to fix it.

1. Get in truck and close door.
2. Turn ignition to on. Do not start truck. Make sure that your phone is not around or turn off Bluetooth. Will not work if phone pairs.
3. After screen come on, push the power and tune black buttons in at the same time until the screen goes black.
4. Turn truck off.
5. Open the driver door for 30 seconds.

My screen was fixed after this. I did check, I have the latest software version installed for my system.

Just got my spray in bedliner and the back up cam is now a blue screen. The installer said all the 2019's they have done do that and returns to normal after about 25 miles of driving. Has anyone else heard that theory? I'm going to drive around after lunch and see if it starts working again.

Looks like my installer was right. The camera started working again 25 miles after it was disconnected.

I have had the blue screen, then 2 more times i received the black screen for my reverse cam. Dealer told me there is nothing they can do for me since there is no error being reported. This has happened in cold and warm temperatures so i have no idea what is causing it.

Same black screen issue here and same response from the dealer. Pretty frustrating.

Working in IT. This seems to be something with their software that is causing an issue. I also noticed that when the reverse cam was cutout my Lane Departure was turned off (I never turned it off). I will see if both of these things happen again. I think when the engine starts something happens and the cam, and lane departure hangs up for some reason. Ram needs to release a fix.

They replaced my camera Friday morning were still able to replicate the problem. Then they tested the wiring harness which was faulty so they had to special order that. It's not some simple small pigtail piece, the tech told me it's a much longer cable with the pigtail end. I will keep you posted when that is installed.

Not at this time. I believe the initial release of the uconnect had that capability but after an update or 3 it was removed and hopefully it allows full screen again.
Yeah it was a full display when reversing when i initially bougjt the truck, i loved the whol whole display. Wish they could bring it back.

2019 Ram 1500 Limited - fully loaded.
Last week, my windshield cracked due to some sub zero temperatures. Order a new Mopar Windshield and had it installed by Safelite on premise at a Ram dealership so the cameras can be calibrated once the new window was installed. After it was over, the Lane Departure feature and Surround View cameras were not working. Took it back to the dealership the following day. They got the Lane Departure feature to work, but couldn't get the Surround View to work. It's odd, because each individual camera view works and there was never any damage to the truck or cameras. The dealership can not tell me why the individual camera views are working but not the Surround View. They have ordered me a new front facing camera and now I get to go back a third time next week once it gets in stock for the install. I'm not optimistic this will solve the issue, as I don't believe the camera if faulty. I simply don't think they know what they're doing.

YOU GUS ARE SCARING THE CRAP OUT OF ME!! I was all ready to order a loaded Laramie crew 4x4, but after reading this and the audio thread, I have decided to either wait to see if the 2020 has some bugs worked out, or maybe just blow off the RAM all together. I have been an electrical and systems engineer for 35 years, and never have I seen a production product with so many bugs and inconsistent behaviors. Truly inexcusable for a major manufacturer. This is unbelievably pitiful and I really feel for you guys. Anyway, thank you all for a great forum and all information.

New harness was installed. The camera now "flickers" sometimes like the old camera and harness did, although it is not going black from a cold start until driving 12 miles like when they just replaced the camera. Dealer said they are putting in a star case.

Keep in mind that the issues you see here are a tiny fraction of all trucks built. We are talking hundreds of thousands of trucks, with perhaps a few dozen users on this forum, most of which only post when they are having issues.
If you go to the other MFGs forums, you will see a similar cross-section of users with issues. Just my 0.02 cents here.

Cheers,
