Any of you guys have done 6112's in the front ?

What made you choose the 6112s over Kings and other options you were considering? I must say those UCA’s look nice but damn expensive!
Well the price difference is thousands. I saw people pretty happy with 6112 so I went for it.
Also availability was a factor.
Total chaos is well know and makes high end gear so I’m happy with supporting it. Plus they’re local.

What kind of prices are you guys seeing on install of 5100 or 6112's. I went to dealership today so they could do their inspection and order my replacement mat for recall. I asked them about the lifts they were doing on new trucks on the lot. They said they were using the Rough country puck which they sold for $90 bucks, but with installation it was going to be $547.. That is $457 for labor. Seemed like when I bought my 17 F150 they installed the Ready lift 2.25 before I picked up the truck and it was around $260 including cost of kit.
This cost was just to install puck on top, not the Bilsteins.

Does anyone know if you can run 6112s with a 4” lift? The 4” spacer would just sit on top of the 6112s right? I would run it stock height or maybe position #2 max. Thank you

Dude, that seems high to me for what you'll end up with. I installed the 6112s myself, so just under $800 for a high quality product that levels the truck. True, you'll need some spring compressors (or have a shop do that part) and a torque wrench, but very well worth it. I'm for sure a weekend mechanic, not a pro, but with a little bit of capability you can do the install. I don't know how much you're planning to go offroad, but there are options besides the pucks. It seems some people have issues with the factory UCAs hitting the coils with the puck. Also, it won't really improve the vehicle besides the lift you'll get. Even consider the 5100s over a puck I'd say.... This graphic was helpful in helping persuade me the direction I went. The graphic is for the 5100s but also applies to the 6112s.

Finally got around to installing my 6112s on the front. I went with clip #4 to preserve some rake and suspension droop.

The front raised just under 1 1/4" at this setting.

This is the factory non-orp Hemi 4x4 Crew Cab suspension.

So trolling this thread, since I'm exploring options because I'm tired of waiting for the Mopar 2" lift to come in (>2 months). We're in beach season and I haven't had the truck on the sand once. Also want to get this done before fall/winter.

I'm interested in having the truck level and eliminating the front end rake. I don't haul much or tow much, so I'm not worried about the squat issue. 1/2" rake is acceptable.

So confirming what I have read in this post, setting the clip to 6, 7 or 8 would get me level? @DOFF your truck looks damn level to me, so clip 8 looks like it will get me what I need. And that's a non-ORP package/springs truck, correct?

I also have a set of ORP springs in my garage that I was going to use for the Mopar kit, can I still have those installed instead of the springs with the kit? I surmise I will need to get a set for the rear to match, but the springs were inexpensive, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I might upgrade the UCAs while I am at it and they have the front end apart.

EDIT: I did the math and here's my measurements from center hub to fender (and no, I didn't make up them being spot on identical. I was shocked to see they matched, but then again, I don't drive much):

Front D/S: 21.375"
Front P/S: 21.375"

Rear D/S: 23.250"
Rear P/S: 23.250"

So the delta is 1.875". If I add the ORP springs with this install, that brings the delta down to .875" (naturally, because the ORP spring eliminated the 1" extra).

So I think I might have answered my own question, if I install this without the ORP springs, I'm looking at clip position #6 (1.9"). If I add the ORP springs, I might still do clip position 6 or even 7 to get closer to closing the rake gap.

does it squat when you tow a trailer and make the front end high?
It squats, it’s noticeable. From what I can tell, it hasnt effected steering or ability to tow, breaking or anything like that. I’m putting airbags on it in a couple weeks. Wanted it done before the next camping trip but wife just surprised me with a Yosemite trip next week haha. I’ll see if I can find a side shot and if I don’t, I’ll take one when I hook up next

Nice, have fun in Yosemite !!! Yes , if you can get a picture, I am curious how much it squats. How much tongue weight approximately is your trailer? What airbags are you going with?

Instead of the ORP rear springs, has anyone used the Bilstein rear springs?
I was wondering the same thing. The Bilstein progressive springs look perfect for what I'm going for in a suspension upgrade, but I'm looking for someone to chime in with their experience.

What is the part number on your 6112 boxes? The set I ordered arrived today and it looks like they are part number 24-298810 and not 47-293540.
I had the exact same thing happen. What happened with your 24-298810 part numbers?

It ended up being right. That part number was for the shocks themselves, I think, and the other number is for both the shocks and coils together as coilovers. They've got 10k miles on them with no issues.

This is my setup. 6112s on #7 with Zone UCAs riding on LT285/65R20s on stock wheels. I also removed my front air dam.
