A lot of people are gonna want to know what model number radio module you ordered, and where you ordered from that was allowed to sell it, if you don’t mind sharing.

quick question/s
1. once this conversion is done through alphaobd can you still use the Uconnect app to remotely start your vehicle?And get updates?
2. If you have dual zones does that work also?
3. your xm radio will it stay the same as your original radio id number?
4. does the alphaobd have to always be plugged in
5. Im coming from a 8.4 non nav to the 12inch do i need any special cord?

They’ll sell it to you and cancel the next day when they try to order from mopar and mopar tells them nope. Trust all who needed it have already gone through this, the resellers do not physically have the part in stock.
The whole issue is pretty stupid. Even if you want to buy this outright at retail, Chryslers STAR has to approve it. They approve it, then release the part and then parts can order it. Pretty F** stupid. This was originally implemented to stop the techs who aren't too bright from just ordering a module when it was something else wrong. A smart tech who knows how to diagnose radio problems never had this problem but now everyone is locked down because of this, including retail customers. The other thing is there is no guarantee even a retail customer can buy it because Star may not approve the sale.
Doin the swap today and thought I would be able to live with the red edge trim as my bezel doesn’t match the interior. Pretty simple removal, painting it black. Just awaiting UPS with my brain module and hopefully all goes well

Or, are you referring to a conversion harness that changes the wire locations around on your existing 8-way connector? If so, I can build one for you.
I do believe that I might end up with an extra multi media module. I thought it was luck of the draw with the one I had before. Then I had the email I'd been waiting weeks for saying one of the previous ones I'd been waiting on came through also. Part number in photo for cross referencing..... I should have it by the end of next week. It's UCX for those who are going to ask
