Also when u rewire the plug if you touch the red and ground (duh) which they are close and right next to each other you will blow fuse f53 under ur feet.

I have been trying to follow the thread but its 10 pages long. So if I have the 8.4 w/nav in order to change to the 12, I need the screen and make sure the module comes with it?

Nevermind u don’t need the Lvds if you have Navi sorry

thanks, im looking at some on Ebay, would you be able to tell if the module is there in the pictures? The reason I ask is the seller has not replied yet.

Do the rear, front, and side cameras come into a wiring harness that goes to one plug or are there 4 places in the back of the screen that accepts 4 cameras? I am wondering if once the 12" monitor is installed with the radio module, maybe you could also install the side mirrors and front grill with cameras and wire them in, or even use aftermarket cameras.

surround camera is available on the 8.4 also. No the screen has ONE input. The surround camera has four cameras that feed into an image module. It handles all the inputs and sends out the signal to the screen.

I have a 8.4 with Nav and purchased a 12 with module that came with it . When I hooked it up. The screen was blank and wipers went crazy. It would not work . I then installed my Original 8.4 back and the heat , radio wouldn’t work and I got a bunch of dash lights. I took it to dealer and they had to re program the truck and told me the AC module blow out. All of you that have the 8.4 with nav, Do not plug and play—- warning
Do I need another module ? Were do I get it and what part number is it?

I have everything works but the volume and the tune knob but you can control it on the steering wheel just need to find the module for a 12.1 I got lucky and found a totaled truck works awesome

I have the 8.4 with nav and all I had to do was get the radio and the module no programming was required all I had to do was get a unlock code cause it was locked there’s a company online you can get that with the module s/n radio codes.com
