2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Uconnect issues. About 3/4 times now this has happened. My uconnect will go insane and start click randomly all over. Setting gps locations, calling people, etc. random stuff. Takes me a while but I’m eventually able to factory reset. And then it’s fine again. Any ideas or fixes for this by chance? Also if I factory reset will I need to update uconnect?

No update necessary after reset. Software version stays on

Do you have to factory reset it? I would suggest disconnecting both batteries for about a couple minutes then reconnecting. I had an issue once and that fixed it for me.

I haven’t tried disconnecting both batteries yet. The factory reset seems to work for a period of time (2-4 weeks) before the weird issue shows its face again.

Would disconnecting the small secondary battery cause any issues?

Rambox Bed Divider
Can someone confirm the divider is supposed to have a key cylinder in it? The manual says "Make sure the center handle is unlocked using the vehicle emergency key located within the key fob and rotate the center handle vertically to release the divider side gates."
My divider just has a hole in the middle - no place to put a key. Has anyone else run into this? I'd like to be able to lock it so it doesn't "walk away."

Can the law work backward in time? I don't think its retroactive.
So will be 30 days in shop from passing the law date
Not sure. I spoke with the dealership on Friday and Stellantis has them comparing it to another truck with the same options because they aren't able to figure out what the issue is.

I went to the dealership with this exact question about my new Ram and they found out that the new bed dividers do not have the key cylinder. I was concerned about mine walking away also but it will be under a cover most of the time.

If that's true, it's very annoying. The online videos clearly direct use of a key, partially to avoid it coming loose while in use and flying out. The owner's manual shows it as well.
I've sent an email to Mark Dodge to ask them about this. I'll update when I get a response.

Same thing as "phone as key", marketing gimmick only

No. No issues disconnecting them both. I would suggest you try this before you do another factory reset. That sounds like a real PITA to have to re-do all your settings every 2-4 weeks.

what ? park assist?
thats available on as old as 2019-2024 models
It was removed from 2025 models (maybe still am option on tungsten?) They still have park assist but not the active feature that will park for you, just the sensors.

Star Filing,
I have a 2025 Ram 1500 Limited. I've had some issues with I believe a wiring harness along with throttle body issues. My service department is saying that they have had to elevate it to the "Star" Service that communicates directly with Stellantis. Has any one ever heard of the "Star Service"?

Removed “quietly”…. After many of us ordered it with the belief it was included as much as four wheels and doors. Then, after months of advertisements, they quietly added “late availability” to the website. And the hard button on the upper right side of the screen is missing, so they would have to use a soft button to add it, which is not likely.
Simply false advertising.

there were several marketing communications that didn't hold true.

Also, I took a trip from CT to NH and back. Max speed basically 72. Started with 20 miles or so (from a full tank) with a truck computed average of 14mpg. Trip ended with 19.3mpg.
