2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

About 30 minutes
Then, that’s a little odd. Could be a thermostat issue. Or, could be you didn’t warm up the transmission enough yet.
It’s also to reduce wear and tear. I’d keep an eye on it for now. Next time it happens, ensure the gages are in the picture in case you need to take it in

I did go around for 40 minutes - and now it says stop/start not ready, the battery is charging.
I could careless about the stop/start feature. I always turn it off -- just want to know if this is an indication for the batteries dying.

It does seem suspicious, maybe @Jimmy07 has some ideas

azzx: It is my understanding that there are 2 batteries and one of them is used primarily for the start/stop engine feature. I was told it is the smaller one between the main larger battery and firewall.
Might check terminal connectors to see if they are corroded and check voltage with engine not running.

The smaller battery runs all the electronics when stopped. The main is the starter.
This advice makes sense if the low battery was referring to the aux. good thoughts @Laramieblue

Is it possible any of you guys with a 2025 can confirm that N1 and N4 on the fuse box don’t have any wires on them. A pic would be helpful. I appreciate it

My wifes Grand Cherokee's start stop has not worked within the last 14-18 months, it always says the same thing, battery charging. No matter how long the drive it never changes. I took it in to service and they just brushed it off as, it's ok, it probably just needs to keep charging. I've taken a 7 hour road trip and it still says the same lol, oh well..

Did anyone know where I could find descriptions of the customer preferred packages? My window sticker lists customer preferred package 21H but this isn't something I selected when ordering so I assume it just deceived the combination of packages I selected?

I think 21H is the "quick order" code for the Laramie with the Hurricane SO.
I'll attach the file I'm using.

Had an ARE truck cap installed and I wanted the vehicle to be able to lock and unlock the rear hatch. The dealer said he has done a couple of '24's but the 25's wiring harness is different. After the holidays, ARE tech got back with updated wiring diagram. He can get the lock portion to work, but the unlock doesn't. The wiring diagram shows an unlock line, but he gets voltage on the line (it is a bit low) when both lock and unlock are pressed. He has probed the entire wire harness on the passenger door without luck. Any techs out there want to comment?rampic.jpg

FYI. The attachment is an old one, it has changed since it was published.
Yes it is - I probably should've clarified that. That is over a year old, but for purposes of identifying codes and what they mean, it should be pretty accurate. As far as what is standard and what is not.... that's clearly out of date. Trailer Surround View Camera System, Smart Phone as a Key, and Parksense Active Park are just a few examples of things no longer included (at least not right now).

Anyone have the new guide?

Damn that's a sharp looking truck!

Thank you. Love the Bison/Sea salt interior. Previous had a 2017 Laramie. This truck is heads above the 2017 in refinement, both outside and inside. The 3.0 is so smooth around town you almost think it is an electric motor.
Good to hear - I'm hoping to take delivery of my 25 Laramie with the Bison interior next week!

I’ll be close behind you I hope. Truck is at Mark and through PDI. Hope to set up shipping Monday or Tuesday.
Have to say, Mark Dodge is very easy to work with. They have this down pat.

Any chance you have the brown all weather floor mats? I forgot to order them with my truck and now I can't find them in brown anywhere in most sites etc - only finding them in black. Curious what the part number is for the brown.
