2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

so auto locks don't work. unhook both batteries for an hour i bet you they will work after that i had so many issues with things not working and after i unhooked batteries approach lights worked and many other things.
I'll give this a try on mine today and report back. My approach lights randomly worked yesterday once or twice, but now back to not coming on again

So, I’ve found out that my approach lights (turn headlights on when unlock with fob) work once for each engine shutdown.

How is the auto drive? Work well? Not at all?

I have a Tesla model Y and considering trading for the RHO.

To be quite honest, I take road trips and the FSD I have on my Tesla is a god send. I was driving from San Antonio to Dallas area 3x a week and I wouldn’t even need to touch the wheel, going through a bunch of small towns too. Driveway to driveway like I was a passenger princess lol.

I know the RAM won’t be nearly as good, but it’s a selling point that any vehicle I purchase has to have something within reason.
Get 19-24 RAM and Comma 3x, SunnyPilot.
Close to Tesla, FCA one is inferior to it.

Yes. But if I lock it, then unlock it without a start/shutdown in between, they don’t come back on
I believe this is exactly what mine did yesterday. I started the truck, shut it back off but didn't close the door/lock it. I hit the unlock button the fob then they worked. But later on, not working again. I'm hoping a battery disconnect maybe fixes it.

Didn't fix mine, but give it a shot and report back.

I’d call it more of a “lane keeping service with adaptive cruise control.” Far from an auto driving vehicle. Will not adapt to changing speed limits or make turns or anything like that.

Disconnected the batteries for well over an hour yesterday. Didn't resolve the auto lock feature.

I did get the CEL after reconnecting them. It was on this morning, but I turned the truck off and when I started it again no CEL.

I sure wish Ram would give us the secret decoder rings for these damn temperamental machines.

My auto comfort stopped working the other day. A couple reboots on the informatainent got it. That happened before I disconnected the batteries. That didn't fix that either.
It's like the batteries didn't even get disconnected. Not sure how it held all the settings. 🤷
