2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Uhh, that’s great and all, I do hope it “sticks” but what are those shenanigans about your USB C ports only working if cables are inserted in a certain orientation????
I hope you didn’t accept that response
I did not... it only happened one time where USBs where not working. I found a loose fuse. I think they misunderstood my complaint. In fact I found that almost every fuse was loose under the dashboard.

What I find interesting is that the tech said USB-C outlets aren’t bidirectional and thought that was OK to give back to you.
That’s the entire initial purpose of USB-C, not worrying what direction you plug your cord in…

EDIT: maybe I repeated myself. I haven’t had coffee yet 😕

No you are good. I just ignored him. I did not ask them to look at the USBs. They asked me if I had any other issues besides proximity... and I mentioned the USBs that happened once...so I guess they decided to look. My guesses he is confusing USB and USB-c. I have 3 USB lights plugged in at all times that's the only reason I noticed the one time they were not all lite up.

I also told them on the phone that as long as proximity was working I was coming to get it... so he had no choices but to give it back to me.
