I don't see any setting for approach in the lights setting. Everything works with unlock but not on approach and not unlocking. There’s an approach and an unlock setting in lights setting.

did you get a credit card key toYa, I only use the one key fob. My other one is stored away in a cabinet. I'm thinking it's just a programming issue or something.
I’ll take a picture of what I’m talking about laterI don't see any setting for approach in the lights setting. Everything works with unlock but not on approach and not unlocking.
your right only thing i see is light animation option .Mine didn't work for a thousand or miles or more then one day walked out it was like a Christmas tree i didn't even know i had that option. I posted before somedays they work great others they don't.I don't see any setting for approach in the lights setting. Everything works with unlock but not on approach and not unlocking.
Not sure this is what you're talking about but I saw a video on you tube where the guy mentioned they removed a configurable tile on the upper right side in the center cluster because that spot now always shows the active lane keep.Another issue I've noticed is when setting up my dash screen (the left, right, upper right, lower right) information to display, it does not give me an option for the "right" side of the screen. On my last truck, I had my distance to empty setup to be right there, and I wanted it on this new 2025 as well. But no option to even select the "right" side of the screen. Anyone else have this issue or even notice? This is issue number 3 with not even 100 miles on the truck yet lol.
That actually makes sense. This truck does have active lane keep assist while my previous trucks did not. That may answer that question. I also keep that feature off so I don't know if that's where the icons come on at or not. I'll try it now so I know. Not sure this is what you're talking about but I saw a video on you tube where the guy mentioned they removed a configurable tile on the upper right side in the center cluster because that spot now always shows the active lane keep.
I noticed the same on mine since I bought it that the front headlights don't turn on. Not sure if they are suppose to or not though. Nobody here ever gave me an answer LOLI just noticed, mine too. My mirror floods turn on but not the headlights.
Also, although the setting is gone, my doors auto-lock @ 15mph or so.
The setting in the radio says "headlights on approach" and a time limit for them, so yes. They are supposed to turn on. But mine are also not doing it.I noticed the same on mine since I bought it that the front headlights don't turn on. Not sure if they are suppose to or not though. Yeah I told the dealer about it a while back and they said they would look into it, but they just said they didn't know why they didn't work and maybe it was a software glitch. The setting in the radio says "headlights on approach" and a time limit for them, so yes. I'm expecting a similar response from my dealer. I may not even mention it right now. I do want my steering wheel to be straight though, that's my main reason for going in. I can live without the headlights coming on when I unlock the truck, even though I think buying a brand new vehicle, all the functions it comes with should be working. But I know that's asking a lot in 2025.Yeah I told the dealer about it a while back and they said they would look into it, but they just said they didn't know why they didn't work and maybe it was a software glitch.
I'm not sure about all of the updates between my 2020 Limited and the newer models you folks seem to have, but what I found was that the only way to increase or decrease the volume of Siri or a text "ding" was to change the volume when Siri was talking or when the text "ding" occurred. I sent myself a text, and when it was being read by Siri, I increased the volume. I sent myself another text, and during the "ding," I increased the volume. I hope this helps. If you have a different issue, such as the volume of Siri sometimes being lower than others without any change to the volume at all, I'm interested in the fix as I'm waiting on an ordered 2025 Limited.Dang it!
Exactly how my 2014 worked.I'm not sure about all of the updates between my 2020 Limited and the newer models you folks seem to have, but what I found was that the only way to increase or decrease the volume of Siri or a text "ding" was to change the volume when Siri was talking or when the text "ding" occurred. What? Someone found a way to mute a woman? Please send the tutorial link!Does anyone who uses CarPlay notice that sometimes Siri’s voice, reading messages is way too quiet? Anyone figure out why? Thanks
I appreciate it. Everything is turned on.I’ll take a picture of what I’m talking about later
Yeah, that is definitely a different issue, but I just learned from you that you can get Siri to talk louder by telling her to do so! I'm old, I guess, because out of sheer necessity, a few weeks ago I learned I could ask Siri to answer my iPhone! LoL! Yeah, I did not even know I could do that until I could not reach the iPhone but wanted to answer it so on complete flyer I said ... Siri answer the phone. Old is as Old does, I guess.Doesn’t work. You can change the volume of Siri independently and at any time in UConnect 5.5. It doesn’t “keep” the setting. You can also tell Siri to speak louder (or tell her to speak at 100%) and it still doesn’t matter. If she’s in a quiet phase through the truck, it’ll stay that way. Turning her up while talking will do something but it’s like staring at 1 out of 30 volume. So, yeah, relatively she’ll get louder, but only to like a 5 out of 30.
That is so strange it would randomly work. Makes no sense. All my setting are on and nothing.your right only thing i see is light animation option .Mine didn't work for a thousand or miles or more then one day walked out it was like a Christmas tree i didn't even know i had that option. Funny I just got my truck back today after 4 weeks of it being at the dealer. I noticed something odd, my headlights didn’t come on like usual but they did come on after as they should when I did this:The setting in the radio says "headlights on approach" and a time limit for them, so yes. They are supposed to turn on. But mine are also not doing it.
