2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Are the tailgate ram letters just glued or are there holes?
So I have the MF tailgate so it’s just a big ram head. The metal itself has an indentation for the badge so I left that on.

My Dad has a TRX with the RAM letters and they are just glued on. Nothing to worry about in regards to taking them off. It is pretty easy to tell that they use double sided tape.

I believe it's just Laramie level 2's and up that get the credit card key thing. I don't have one for my BigHorn/LoneStar.

If they just came with passive entry, I’d be happy without leather

That's exactly how I feel. I wish it had passive entry and the auto sensing wipers. My 2010 Fusion had these and it was a basic trim..
Yeah, it’s not even an option. And a power passenger seat, I added above. Then the Big Horn would be just enough.
Although, given all the issues talked about about the passive keys, maybe we’re lucky 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well I don't need the passive key, would it be nice sure, but I don't care if it just had passive entry. The power passenger seat would be great as well. I bought the seats from a Limited to get the power side on the passenger side. They gave me some BCM codes so I can't use them yet. Trying to figure it out.

Im in for my first oil change now and they had an RSU to apply to my computer but my luck the Witech system went down mid-update and I've been sitting here in service waiting area for hours at the dealer. Just found the status page, that confirms what the tech said. They have to wait for witech to come back available and then also see if anything else broke when my update failed. For anyone getting their updates might be good to check the status page before taking the truck in.

Yeah, I meant passive entry. The people with passive entry are having issues.
The problem with the “buy Laramie seats” option is that, besides the codes, unless you get the back seats, you’ve got leather with cloth. But, I suppose it’s not that big of a deal if they’re both black

What’s an RSU?

Oh I got lucky and found a set that included front and rear and the Limited center console... These bad boys have massaging option, but apparently I can't active it without more stuff on the BCM.

OK, 2 questions: if you’re willing: How much?
Also, what’s the difference in console?

So I found a set from a truck that had only 1000 miles and I got it for 1800 shipped. The center console has the lids for cup holders and the cubby area behind it. Plus it has the heated and cooled buttons in the back for the passengers and the dual wireless charging pads.

Sounds nice!!! Good price!

auto wipers are crap they go super fast even faster as your mph goes up and then they stop when you stop. I turned mine off.

The previous year fits the 25's. I have one already installed on my truck.

I did notice it rides a little more firm now. I have it on the softest setting which is still more firm than factory. It's not horrible at all and I love that the truck now feels planted. That was my first mod I did when I bought the truck. Hellwig for the win! I really want to try the front one, but I'm worried it will make the ride really firm, so I might just leave it the way it is.
So now I am wondering which end to change out for better control and reduced sea sickness from all the swaying. To minimize the impact to the smooth ride it seems only 1 end should be changed out but which end. Up front you have all the steering happening which causes the swaying action. If you are towing a travel trailer you have the added tongue weight in the rear but if you have a weight distribution system you are transferring a couple of hundred pounds to the front wheels. You also have the travel trailer pushing the tow ball left and right while going around turns so that would increase the sway forces to the rear end. Interesting all the dynamics going on here with the forces and application of common sense or engineering physics.

Anybody have any practical experience with adding improved sway bars to front/rear while towing travel trailer?
