2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

I’m assuming the people turning on the mirror tilt feature are people without the tow mirrors? There isn’t really a need for this feature with the huge convex mirror on the tow mirrors.
No tow mirrors here, but I have a sloping driveway and liked using the tilt when I backed up to park/align.

So one notice/complaint I have is the doors don’t sound/feel very solid when closing. They sound like something is loose inside the door. It is all 4 doors too. Even after 4 years the doors on my Ford sound better when closing.

Another update:
6400 miles, no CEL so far. Only the BS message "Your Uconnect requires service". 3 trips to the dealer and this BS is still going on randomly.
91 octane gas.
I had to take a 400-mile round trip on FWY, with an average speed of 85 and many miles at 90 + (of course, this was on a sanctioned/authorized road).
Rev limiter kicked in at 104, my Hemi's limiter kicked in at 108. The tires and other stuff are taken into consideration for the rev limiter. This thing can easily do 130+.
Avg. MPG: 18.1

i know those limiters u fall flat on your face 104 trx is 118 trx quarter mile would be faster if it wasn't for the limiter 60 to 100 pulls with the 392 gears left many hemis in the dust they like to test the new one on the highway

That didn’t make any sense bro…

In the department of “lame”, I opened up the hood on the truck and noticed that the “vents” on it are strictly cosmetic. There is no function whatsoever on the hood vents.

He doesn’t use any punctuation whatsoever. I have to read it a few times and try to piece the sentences together to decipher what he’s trying to say. I should just skip his posts in the future.

So I’m officially now an owner of a 2025 Limited! Took delivery tonight. First impressions are that I have a TON of new gadgets to learn, engine is nice and quiet, and the ride is very smooth. I had read earlier about people saying that the tow mirrors created quite a blind spot and I thought they were just being whiny. I am leaving a 2020 F150 with the tow mirrors and never had any real issues with the blind spots. First time I pulled out of my neighborhood I realized what everyone had been talking about. There’s going to be a real learning curve with these and making sure I don’t miss something behind them.

One of the biggest things I was looking forward to with this new truck is the “phone as a key” feature. I tried to set it up in the truck but it said I had to use the Ram app on my phone. For the life of me, I can’t find out where that is. The video for this on Ram’s website is missing. Has anyone else been able to turn this on? If so, any info is much appreciated .

I’ll be spending several hours over the next few days trying to learn all about this new toy. Looking forward to it.View attachment 193853
At first, the big blind spot from the tow mirrors was alarming. I remember being at a stop sign and totally not seeing a car on the cross-street. A couple of months later and it really isn’t an issue. I adjusted my driving to anticipate or look around the blind spot.

Okay i will use punctuation. Skipping someones post cause of that lol . Peace be with you!

Like you RAM
I love your garage! This is what God meant it to be!!
That truck needs some car friends in that big garage, it's kind of lonely. Also the floor is way too clean, a Model A should fix that relatively quick...

It’s just common courtesy. You want us to know what you have to say, so make it easy for us to know what you are saying. Don’t make us have to decipher it.
