2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Anybody know why there are two batteries? I have 2025 1500 Bighorn 3.0L, S.O. There's a small, motorcycle size battery to the rear of the main battery. I've found no mention of it in anywhere.

I believe it's related to the Start/Stop function.

Maybe just added cranking amperage. Just odd I haven't seen any mention of it. Thanks.

I believe the smaller one is a backup to allow the transmission to be put in neutral just in case the main 12v dies.
