2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Yup, these just pop out, no new bezel is required. I just installed the RC tow hooks over lunch, everything fits up perfect. Ironically these covers are called "tow hook delete" on the parts diagram.
Nice, do you have pictures of the rough country installed? I am looking at going with those as well.

Guys,

Checking in if any of you have bought/successfully installed the following:
1- Rear mud flaps
2- Bed step
3- tow hooks

If you have, please provide P# and where you bought them.
I bought the bed step for 2024, did not fit

Here’s a couple pics I just took. They look and feel great. Very pleased with the quality.

Another MPG update.

Current total miles: 2100
the last tank fill up: @ 316 miles since last fillup. "per trip comp. had a range of 290 miles to go"
Hand clac. MPG: 21
235 miles of twisty up and down backroads (60 - 80mph).
81 miles of city driving.

The only issue that is popping up at random is the message "your Uconnect box requires service, see your dealer"
Everything works, hate to go to the dealer for this for now.

That's really good especially considering the 3.92! Thanks for sharing, azzx!

Curious if anyone has part numbers for the LED Limited taillights yet? So far I haven't found anything, curious to see what the cost might be.

I just received the rubber floor mats today. I can confirm these are the correct for 2025 with the dead pedal. I'm not sure why but right now they are extremely cheap. Quad cab was $60 with tax, free pickup from the dealer.

What site did you order from? I’m finding those mats available but they want as much for shipping as the mats themselves. I can’t find a “pickup at dealer” option.

Edit: never mind . Just had to go to mopar.com

Do any of you current owners use the smartphone as a key feature? I use my iPhone as the key to my house and never carry a house key so the idea of not having to carry any keys at all to operate my truck is appealing to me. Wondering how it works and if it’s reliable.

That’s one of the options I’m most interested in. I’m not positive but I think that it is just rolling out with the newer trucks. It is a hardware option that is just now becoming available. Probably on the wagoneer it has been available?

Laramie goes in Tuesday with 300 miles for wiper failure. Was hoping to avoid the dealer if anybody has ideas. Checked the fuse and it was fine. Didn’t see any relays under the hood.

I've been searching for the same thing. I can't find part numbers yet.

yea, so far only finding the hologen part numbers. Probably just have to wait a bit longer since the Limited's just coming to market now with the LED's.

Now with 2400 miles, I'm seeing a few other things that are somewhat strange to me.

First one - so when I unlock my truck during the day the headlights will turn on but none of the approaching lights, mirrors or tailgate lights illuminate. This makes sense as it's probably reading through the sensor on the dash that they are not required but I find it odd that they front headlights will illuminate. At night it's a different story though. My headlights don't illuminate when I unlock the truck but the approach lights come on(mirrors/tailgate) I would have thought that the headlights would come on only at night as approach lights as well.. Can anybody confirm on how theirs are operating?

Second one - since I haven't driven the truck at night until this past weekend I just noticed this. Last night I came to a light and the truck went into it's start/stop function. When the truck went to start, the front headlights turned off for a split second until it started. My previous truck didn't do that from what I recalled. When I got to another red light I waited for it to restart and it did the same thing. Is anybody experiencing this where the headlights go out while the truck restarts?

thanks

When the sun is out, you need your headlights to see your car in a parking lot, etc. At night, you don't need as much light.
