I have a roll up, it has a rubber weather strip where it meets the tailgate. I just run my plastic scraper blade along the rubber and everything opens fine.
I know the 5.7 is going away for the 1500, replaced with the I6. Not sure of the status on the 6.4 in TRX or HDs though. Charger and Challenger are supposed to go away, but no word on any replacement beyond the EV concept. Whatever they do interim will be built with the I6.
I like the dark halogen housings on my BC, I swapped all Lasfit into high, low and fog. Cost was about $90. Great light output, and cheap to replace if needed.
Just a wild guess, but since it happens mostly during or just after a turn, I wonder if something in the clock spring is shorting or sending bad data causing a fatal error and shut down?

I test drove a Limited and a Laramie before ordering my BC, the air was a fun toy, but the ride didn't feel any different to me. Also figured it is much easier to "trail fix" a broken spring than a blown bag. Not to mention, the air system is heavy, dropping payload that much more.
