Same problem with my 21 Limited, took it to the dealer and they said it was a computer flash problem. Worked for about 2 days and started doing the same thing again. Haven't had the time to go back to the dealer yet. But I know it isn't a software problem for sure.
I have a similar problem with my running boards on the pass side, sometimes they will start to go up then stop and go back down, sometimes they start to go down and then go back up, if i open and shut the door several times they will finally work right. I have cleaned them thinking they might...
I chose Ram because I won't own anything except a Mopar. The Limited is my 10th new Dodge /Ram truck and every one has been trouble free (except for a couple recalls). The last non Mopar truck I had was a 1996 GMC that had 3 new engines put in under warranty. Took it in and traded on a 1998...
Your best bet is an Edge Pulsar. It can be removed before taking the truck in for factory service. I have one on my truck and wouldn't drive without it, advertised a 40 horse gain, I believe there are youtube dyno pulls to prove that .All I know is a huge seat of pants difference. Must run...
I removed the Pulsar off of my 19 Rebel when I traded for the 21 Limited and put it on the Limited (with ET) and it works just fine as far as I can tell. Mine was bought over 2 years ago so I'm guessing it has the old software on it. I might give Edge a call and ask about it. But like I said it...
Well, today I traded my 19 Rebel for a 21 Limited and boy ,, what a difference! I liked my Rebel but I love this limited! Everything but the kitchen sink on this truck. Downside is now I will have to get another tonneau cover for the limited as it has the 5'7" bed and the Rebel had the 6'4" bed...
Looks like they are fastened with push pins. Push pins just pop out by getting a slim tool under the pin and prying out. The one on the top bed picture has a center pin you pop out then the outside pin just pulls out.
I had the same problem with mine. The front of the skid plate has a hole in it for a bolt to the frame but there was nothing in it nor a place on the frame to bolt it too. I made a spacer for it, drilled and tapped a hole in the frame and bolted it down,, no more rattling or vibrations. Why Ram...
The Rebel bumper has that center hump in it .I don"t think another model grill will fit unless the bumper is changed also. I'm like you ,, I don't like the Rebel grill but don't want to spend a wad of money to change it.
Finally got some back seat passengers and took a ride to see if I still had the noise. Yep, it's gone , the update fixed it. Thanks Ram cares for taking care of this for me. Cherlene was great to deal with.
My Ram Cares case manager called me this morning and told me they still didn't have an update for mine yet,, maybe she is just behind the times. I do know the updates are build date specific. I'm not real sure when my truck was built.
That is the exact reason the wheel well liners were one of the first things I put on my Rebel and the 09 I traded for the Rebel. Ans I hate seeing the frame through the wheel wells. They will keep a lot of the under side cleaner.
