Anybody else had these issues and replaced the motor? Did that fix it? I’m having the same issues with my drivers side not working right. Sometimes it works as normal. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all. Sometimes it’s just slow.
I mean, I don’t really think their employees give a crap if you’ve got aftermarket parts on the truck or not. I doubt the tech is gonna taddle to the manager when he sees aftermarket UCAs or something. They just can’t sell you the package if you openly admit to modifying the suspension.
In my...
I purchased the lifetime alignment from Firestone as I was planning on leveling the truck. Do not tell them you are leveling it. They will not offer the lifetime option if you’ve added aftermarket suspension parts. Just tell them it’s out of alignment.
The air ride won’t level it unless you get custom links or adjust the height with AlfaOBD. I did mine with AlfaOBD. I added the spacers to keep the ride smoother. The front airbag and shock are one single unit. I’m at 80k.
I just replaced mine. I used OEM in the rear as I prefer the soft ride of them. Very easy to install. I also replaced the fronts. The airbag and shock are one unit. It’s a lot of work but I also put on spacers to level it.
I did that and it was real nice. But then I learned you can use AlfaOBD and raise them via computer. I decided to try and add an extra inch all around. I think I broke something because even lowering back to “41 inches at the wheel well it has never rode the same. I’ve replaced the rear shocks...
Looks real good. I have the same size tires. I leveled mine by adjusting the height of each sensor in AlfaOBD. Was wondering what the center of wheel wells measures at from the ground. I’m trying to get mine back to stock height with a front level. I’m at 41” right now. But I think it might be...
So would you say it’s safe to say to upgrade to the GT exhaust you’d only need to order the left pipe with the muffler? Since the resonators are the same? And not both part numbers?
After leveling your truck have you noticed it becoming unlevel and/or changes in each airbag height after time? I was able to get mine level on level ground. But overtime and depending on the slope of the ground I’m on it is no longer level front to back or side to side. It’s always changing the...
Side question. Is it normal for the air suspension to frequently “auto correct” itself? I’ve noticed the sound of the air bags either lowering or raising from time to time. More frequently since I adjusted the height with AlfaOBD or I’m just paying more attention to it now. I just want to make...
How are you getting the lower signature light to turn amber? I have a Limited. And with AlfaOBD and using the a Tazer Live feature only my top light turns amber. Day or Night mode.
I’ve tried every setting combination I can think of. Nothing makes it stop or changes the frequency of it. It’s not the volume leveling. I’m sure it’s not the phone. Because I’ve used the same phone in two different trucks. It only does it on my 19 Limited 12.1” screen. No rhyme or reason...
Right. It’s definitely not the phone. The volume controls on the phone are disabled when it’s connected to CarPlay. Like I said I’ve used the same phone on two different trucks and it only does it on my current truck. I’ve turned on and off the speed leveling feature. Makes no difference.
Mine does this too in my 19 Limited 12” screen. It never did it on my 19 Laramie 8.4” screen. Same phone. When CarPlay is on the phone cannot change volume. The controls are disabled. Any idea how the phone is changing the volume?
Right now I have a 2019 1500 Limited ORG. I have used AlfaOBD to level the front end and added DayStar spacers.
I am considering buying a 2020 1500 Limited but it does not have the ORG. I was hoping to level the new truck as I did the old one. I was considering changing the software to think...
Just bumping this. Nobody knows anything about the difference between a Off Road and non Off Road truck with air suspension? I’m trying to see if they just inflate the springs more or if there’s actual mechanical differences? Thank you.
