Ok. So for my 2019 Rebel my dealer is telling me it’s part number 68426398-AC. I don’t know what to search or ask anymore 🤦♂️ I guess I’ll have them put this one on.
My dealership has the window in 68426398AC
I called my parts department and they told me this part number is the newest and only window that is made for my specific vehicle 2019 Rebel. I told him about the AE part number and he said that did not come with window defrosters. I’m so confused...
Can you let me know if they did a good job with the install? I got a call today that my window replacement was approved. I’m worried they will somehow damage/scratch or leave bolts undone during install :/
When you say window cracked in two places. Are you referring to the plastic mold on the inside to the left/right of the sliding window, Or The main window seal?
Thanks.
Yeah totally BLOWS. Thought that was the issue. Have an appointment already lined up for the second time. Looks like window replacement due to busted seal.
Oops I just saw it was in the corner on the passenger side. Same with me. I don’t know if I posted a picture in this thread but this is what mine look like. Does it compare?
Thanks but I already have the new updated brake light ending in AG. And the new bolts. My truck is still leaking in the same corner after installation.
Hello Sports33,
I have the same exact issue. My passenger side corner is leaking. Not very much and sometimes you can’t tell unless I poke for it with my finger and I get some drops to become visible right where your photos water line starts up top. I took off the brake light and I dripped...
Well I couldn’t resist going out and looking AGAIN. And I found the opposite side that isn’t leaking has that same crack on the outside seal under the weatherstrip like yours. I also noticed there is a “void” in each corner of the surround seal. I don’t know what that’s all about. Almost like a...
Im re-reading your response here. So the top mounted third brake light was replaced because it got your headliner wet from corner to corner. And the small cracks on your window surround seal you circled was causing water to leak down the window at the corners as well and onto the seat/floor?
Thanks. It’s super hard to look. I can barely see behind where the weatherstrip overlaps so I tried shifting it aside to side to allow more visibility. Even then I can only see a tiny bit further down. No cracks that I can see. But again. I can’t see much even with a light.
