I had the Tufftruck 1211 on my 4th gen since it sagged a ton with OEM springs and my #648 ATV in the bed and when trailering two ATVs. 1211 lifted the rear about 1.5" I think because my OEMs were squashed from carrying the ATV. LOVED the 1211. So much so that I pulled them to add to my 5th...
No concerns that I've seen, but I suppose time will tell....
Bilstein really does their research before releasing their products, so I'm hopeful it'll be okay. I suppose any mods can influence wear and tear. I've been modding Jeeps for years and have always considered the impact on the...
Based on your signature, you have the factory 1" because you have the North Edition. I have the same, went with setting #5 and OEM UCA angle looks fine. Dealership did the alignment and said it looked good.
Getting my fronts installed tomorrow. Have the North Edition, same as ORP and will use setting #5.
Want a little rake, so thinking of a puck for the back...1".
Here's my dilemma: have the Tufftruck #1211 springs that I pulled from my 2018 1500 Sport that I want to add to help keep me level...
Sorry for the delay! Wheels are Sendel.
I have the B2 Fab magnaflow muffler and kept the resonators. Sounds is great! IMHO. Has a bit of a drone in the cab when towing, but not bad.
The whole call for best price was confusing me because their prices listed on most items are already cheaper than most places out there. Anybody have luck talking them down even more?
Yes, I've gotten better deals when I call or chat than on their site.
Used them a bunch of times. Most orders with no issues. When I did have issues, it was with manufacturer shipping wrong item. Husky sent the wrong mudflaps and I was sent return labels right away. They now seem to be a broker who negotiates best price when you call. I do recommend calling for...
For stiffer springs, consider exploring Tuff truck 1211, 1210 or maybe 1223. I have the ORP and from what I can find, it is the struts/shocks that are HD, not the springs. But I may be wrong. This is based on my build sheet and what I have read here.
Just called realtruck. They are selling them for $125 and change each. Does this sound like a good deal?
$200-300 for install doesn't sound bad. Figure $100+ per hour take it all apart....
I'm assuming an alignment is separate?
Happened to me. Took pics of when it was malfunctioning (only happened twice) and went to the dealership. They found it had thrown a code and they immediately ordered a new camera for me.
I do hate most of you right now.
Yet another mod I've fallen for based on all of your feedback.
Bought the Hellwig from Amazon and installed tonight. Put it on the middle setting.
Took her out for a test drive and might I just say that I'm tickled pink (a saying I feel the need to bring back)...
Took it out to wash it , so can't grab a pic right now. It is big enough to go door to door. The zippers on the side panels are the weak point, but for the price, I don't mind buying a replacement. After about 6 months of constant zipping and unzipping, one broke. I just use safety pins on that...
I use this one. One of my pooches pukes occasionally and keeping the sides up prevents him from doing that between the seat and the door. Also use this harness and headrest attachment. Don't like the ones that attach to the seatbelt... They get tangled in them...
Can they get you from the back if you drive with your tailgate down? Or get a hitch mount bike rack and carry around a cheap bike.... Pull your front plate, but have it on your dash if you get pulled over.
Not that I'm suggesting you speed and get away with it......
