Tire manufacturers will list a min/max rim size for each tire. This will tell you what works for the tire. It's not really a matter of factory rims or not. These are usually recommendations for best performance and warranty. If you don't like rules though, I'm sure you could try whatever you...
Looks like you could just cut a gallon of milk jug so that it's shaped like this. then you could even have the molded in handle and spout if you needed it...

@cevans6318 Yeah, the finance dept is where they really have the ability to play games with you. Truth in Lending rules only require them to be upfront with you on the loan details so you understand it. They don't necessarily have to give you the best loan offer. If someone here knows...
@Runagun
No, I hadn't said the exact numbers. But from the 5 dealers I got from this forum who quotes, I have 6-7% below invoice on all offers. That's quoted price plus dealer fees from invoice on build. It's about 15% below MSRP on all of them. Factory rebates are not included. There are...
I'll add that Mall of Georgia has now quoted competitively with others. There was an email issue with their server rejecting excel files, in which I sent my build list. Once converted everything to pdf, no issues. That makes 5 competitive quotes to sort through and choose from. wow.
@mike146 I live NE of Atlanta, so Gupton is 5-6 hours away and MD is 11 hours away. I'm leaning toward MD no matter what just because of all the excellent reviews on how straightforward, simple, and honest the service is that they provide. I happen to have family an hour away from Gupton, so...
Has anyone purchased from Gupton in TN? They were on the list of dealers IvoryHemi posted in this thread. They are competitive with MD, and half the distance away. Anyone have feedback on whether they are easy to work with, shady, or have a bad finance dept? Thanks.
@AdamChandler @djevox OR, you floor it going down the hill, yell Whee at the bottom, and coast up the other side before a cop comes over the top of the hill. also, this may save gas, or it might not.
Yeah, you got the right plan. Much easier to just modify the center tube after it's removed from whole assembly. This way it all fits back together. No other way to do it without fabricating a new center tube, or finding an old guy at the muffler shop who will just cut and weld in a new tube...
@19BlueStreakSport
Before you cut anything, those collars look like the connect the tubing sections. You may be able to remove and modify the center section, then just bolt it back together. Rambar instructions also show this as part of the assembly...
@jlinsenbardt If you put 70 or 80 ceramic on windshield you'll have no visibility problems. And it really cuts down on the heat into the cabin. 2 thumbs up on ceramic on windshield.
There are a couple separate threads going over the gear ratio differences for towing and mpg. you can review those if you want the full discussion. lot's of good info in those threads.
the main one that i know of...
I'm curious with this system why the down arrows on diagrams for the front L/R are in different locations when the values are the same. It looks like the L/R settings are not mirrored based on small numbers in the green boxes, which is odd.
I love seeing these diagrams cause it lets you know...
