Nervous times in the parkade
yep I hear you, some of the underground's parking in downtown LA are super low and sometimes the signs with the height limit are wrong, one time I had to back out as I was going in, parking attendant had to hold off and ask people behind me to back out to give me some room.

Likely more stressful in LA (assuming it’s fairly busy) as opposed to nighttime in Winnipeg 😁

-if my truck was levelled even a little bit there’s no way it would make it unscathed

not if I'm trying to optimize MPGs. if I have cruise set at 55, It will brake down hill and downshift to 5th gear going up them which destroys MPG.
@AdamChandler @djevox OR, you floor it going down the hill, yell Whee at the bottom, and coast up the other side before a cop comes over the top of the hill. also, this may save gas, or it might not.

That's why I went with the shortest lug nut I could get away with. No way is some dirtbag pounding an oversized socket onto my locking lug nut.

Today I compared my Laramie build with a Lightning F-150 as I got selected today to build. The costs came out to be 27K more expensive after EV rebates to purchase a similarly optioned vehicle. No thanks, that's like 5 years of gas, LOL. In all seriousness, I do have until April 29th to decide, but right now it looks like a big fat no.

I got an email over a month ago from Ford saying that I will not be getting one in 2022. That was just after the last round of invitations. How did you get contacted today?

They emailed me. They’re going in order from when you signed up. The base and XLT are sold out so if you want a Lariat or Platinum so the line will be moving faster.

I’ve been posting over the last few weeks about my truck making some kind of gurgling / tick sound when it’s just coasting until I just barely accelerate. I think it may be from the MDS. I turned on tow/haul (which I think disables MDS) and it didn’t make the sound the entire drive

Lariat 67K for the standard battery (230 miles) and 77K for the extended battery (320). If you want creature comforts such as power folding mirrors you have to step up to the 77K model.
I think 77k would translate to about 85k after tax and fees in CA plus need to add what ever interest rate you get. Not to mentioned mark ups? which I think Ford was coming down on the dealers about this
I don't think the federal incentive/tax credit ever went thru 7500-12000?
too pricy for me
