    Exhaust Manifold Options

Yup, 118,000 miles and still nice and quiet. I stand by my decision that even if the replacement OEM cracked again, I was further ahead than trying headers. My drivers side is still the factory unit and has no detectable cracks yet.

Need Help ! Need to change tail lights 5th Gen to 4 th Gen.

Yes, we are all of the above, and then some. But we are also human and responded to half the story because that's all you gave us. Knowing the whole story, I would have signed the truck over to you and let you do whatever you wanted. But honestly, knowing your position, I would have made it 100%...

Need Help ! Need to change tail lights 5th Gen to 4 th Gen.

If I was your friend, I wouldn't accept 4th gen lights, nor would I let you butcher the wiring harness. Fix it right or don't touch it at all! Have you looked on ebay, Amazon, LKQ, etc,,, there should be aftermarket lights available that are more budget friendly than OEM.

    Argh! Paint Pealing

Mine has started doing this same thing on the passenger side of the window pillar. I've owned the truck since new, (watched it roll off the truck), and the windshield is still OEM at 112,000 miles so it's very unlikely there's ever been damage or repair in that area. My search didn't come up...

    Exhaust manifold recall

I would say it depends on the dealership. Mine is always backed up and I travel for work so I just opted to do the replacement myself when it was convenient to me.

    Exhaust manifold recall

Well I documented the differences between the revisions but ultimately time will tell of the changes were actually effective. I now have 112k miles on the original drivers side with no cracks and roughly 15k miles on the gen 3 manifold I installed on the passenger side. There seems to be a lot...

    Wheel hub assembly

Mine failed at 111k but only because I threw the weights off the front right tire and ran it for awhile with the unbalance. I got new tires installed the day before I hit the road on a work trip. I felt a shimmy on the third day but travelled another 500 miles before I could get to a shop to get...

    Wheel hub assembly

My choices for drive assemblies and suspension have always been Mopar or MOOG. MOOG was more expensive so going with Mopar was a no brainer. I just replaced the front passenger hub assembly this morning with a Mopar unit. In my research, I found three different part numbers and costs but I...

I moved from Northern Canada to South Carolina 15 yrs ago. Never going back to the ice and snow. My last winter in Canada saw -54F.

    Exhaust manifold recall

You are reminding me of what it was like to maintain vehicles up north vs down here in the South. I am spoiled now. Everything about a vehicle last so much longer.

    Exhaust manifold recall

Meanwhile, you could have ordered one yourself months ago for around $65, changed it out in an afternoon and moved on with your life.

    Towing without Air Suspension

I was going to say, prior to the factory air suspensions, I had Firestone airbags on all my 1500/2500 trucks for 20+ years. They are an excellent solution and it doesn't take long to figure out how much air you need for any particular load. I never bought the on-board compressor setup but played...

How dark are the back windows tinted to and will ceramic tint up front match close enough to the back?

The brow is subjective to driver height and seat adjustment. Pretty sure you are a few inches over 6' where I'm 5'9 so our perspectives are somewhat different. I very seldom use my visors but would never need to if my brow was an inch lower. My tint guy talked me out of it but I wish I had stuck...

How dark are the back windows tinted to and will ceramic tint up front match close enough to the back?

Mine is 32% on the fronts, 18% on the rears but the back still looks darker. I'm 70% on the windshield and 18% on the Pano sunroof.

    Backseat Footwell Lights?

Not sure what other trims have it but my 2017 and 2019 Limited's both had the rear footwells lit up with their Ambient lighting package. Paragoptics offers an ambient lighting upgrade kit for trucks that didn't come with it but like all their products, it is quite pricey...
