While I 100% agree with the mpg statement, the Hemi does have much better low end Trq than the 5.0L & 5.4L Fords I owed. The 3.5L EB & 6.2L Fords I had were better all around.. but one was a lemon and I regret selling the other.
One of the few I've read about where the 19+ got better mpg.. mine is getting **** mileage. Think I'm down in the 15's lifetime, 90% highway, and have 64k miles on the clock.
Unfortunately yes.. it's a non greased, non sealed spline between the differential output shaft and the CV-axle. They wear out.. mine is just about gone at 64k miles.
Planning on buying the Dorman replacement kit and not sure what brand CV Axle, instead of the whole assembly from RAM, and doing...
My 2019, which hasn't automatically updated in years.. ran an update last week.
Can't tell anything that has changed, and nothing seems to be fixed either.. so, anyone know what they actually 'fixed'?
I went with the LT version for mine, about 13k miles ago, as I tow (heavy for a 1500) a few times per year and it's usually for hundreds of miles each way.
It's a harsher ride, the tires hum after getting some miles on them, and I lost about 1/2 mpg. I'm sure there's some acceleration loss...
I know, but they never fixed issues with the 19's after they came out.. I have zero faith in the Uconnect 'team' RAM has. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Mine are pretty accurate. Maybe a lbs off at most.. but, I can never get them all to read exactly the same psi. One is always, always 1lbs different. Drives my OCD nuts. :ROFLMAO:🙃:ROFLMAO:
It's been on 3-4 of my last vehicles.. other than to 'try it out' on the first one, I don't recall ever using it again. Won't miss it.. but it's one more thing they'll take away and not lower the price.
Pricing is insane.. and there isn't enough of a change to get me to jump.
That being said, I have no issue with the TT6 and would be willing to give it a try once the bugs are worked out.
