So i have about 145 miles on the truck just from running around today here's my initial Impressions
Transmission shifts more smartly in regular and cruise control situations /I'll explain/
Before if say i was cruising at 55-70 and the transmission was in 8th gear, it would actually try and...
My 14 F150 was a Center Console, My Truck prior to That one was 02 Frontier with a Center Console, and I've driven trucks with the Lever,
My .2c which isn't worth much,
The Knob took some getting used, and in SOME applications (When I was playing off road and got stuck a bit) it can be a bit...
I was in heavy stop and go the other day, I gathered the system was good for 8 Start and Stops before the Engine Ran for around 5 minutes then Start and Stop came back.
I have flow-masters with the resonators still
When MDS kicks in it sounds like my old 3.5 EcoBoost briefly. Almost surreal sounding, I want to do a resonator delete but decided against it as I heard my self driving away and its plenty loud (these new cabs are just quiet)
The wording is authorized FCA dealer or keep records with proof that the required work at the required mileage was done,
I'm a marine engineer and the last thing I wanna do on my time off is touch more wrenches or deal with anything mechanical, so I'll spend the money.
I'll probably get mine changed at 3K miles, from then on when the computer gets down to 30%.
I have the lifetime warranty so getting it serviced at a dealer at the correct time is obviously a must, I imagine 30% would be around every 7K miles with my driving habits
I know on the last gen trucks that usually came with a tow prep package AFAIK and I believe HD cooling has a different cooling fan and clutch, a different auto trans cooler and a PS oil cooler.
There's multiple reasons
One of them being tire speed limits
Then there's the drive shaft speed rating as well They don't typically leave much of a margin for error either, as an increase in speed creates an exponential increase in drivetrain stress.
You want to disable it and speed around be...
I had a 2014 F150 FX2 Tremor with the 1st gen 3.5L EcoBoost and 4.10's so my Gas Mileage wasn't phenomenal. (Could not get over the sound of that V6 thought despite how quick that truck was:sick:) and my EcoBoost started giving me issues at 65K miles
Like you I was raised Ford through and...
So before I had this Rebel I had a FX2 F150 Tremor
2 door truck, 3.5 1st Gen EcoBoost with a 4.10 rear end, it was a fun truck, this was my average MPG at well you can see
That truck hovered between 16.8 and 15.9 depending on if I was in a headwind and doing 80,.
Enter the rebel
The...
Aren't these the same guys that compared a Rebel and a TRD Tundra then chose the Tundra because it felt smoother on the road and was blue despite the Rebel running circles around it off road? ( also said rebel was air suspension at that)
As the title suggests does anyone know if down the line it would be easy to add the reverse sensor that beeps at you, I already have the hookups it seems they're just blanked off instead of housing the sensor.
I imagine it would require programming though.
They're all over in the Houston area,
I can't count how many I've seen but odds are now If you're behind a RAM pnear me it's a 19 Laramie or Limited
Now seeing other QUAD CAB 19s.. or 19 Rebels in ANY trim is another story
