I can't get behind the Camera's replacing Mirror's.. I just can't, I like my back-up camera and what not, and BMW's Night Vision is also neat but this is just.. eh It would take some getting used to.
If the Engine Oils is below 111 Degree's (at least according to my findings watching the gauge)
If your AC is on High Blast
If your heat is on High Blast
If you're in Tow-haul mode
If you've pressed the + button on the gear select
If your AC is on medium I have found that the truck will kick...
I have a membership to a good Car Wash place up the road from me that has some cool cruise nights, The people there do a great job inside and out and take good care of the vehicles they clean.
I run it through once a week regardless (Truck sits on the Coast for 7 days at a time when at work)...
I'll have to say Driving home from Corpus Christi Wednesday at 75, I was getting 14-13, Sometime's drops to 12, But again HIGH cross-winds and driving directly into the wind, As soon as I get into Houston (I guess just away from heavy winds) it shot back up to 16-15, That's at 75 Cruise still...
Woah lawdy,
Now I KNOW this might sound like a longshot, but have you cleaned your truck since the smell started?
I only ask because last year I drove through a puddle on my motorcycle, seemingly harmless but I started smelling something simmilar/rotten
Long short. That puddle was...
What does it smell like?
I've used my rebel off road light mudding in 4wd at least 200 miles of my 2200 miles so far and hadn't noticed any..smell,
I did notice a smell from the exhaust when the MDS would kick on and off , sort of like rich burning fuel sometimes but thats since passed
I have a lifetime warranty with the Truck, and the dealership I'm working with (and others i have worked with in the past) are less likely to call foul on engine modifications if they're that companies brand (with my mustang i had a intake manifold failure, they mentioned i had a throttle body...
I don't believe apart from a Catback, a few CaI brands and the Pulsar tuner there's not many options out for the 19's yet
Mopar is coming out with a Ram Air intake early next year though and i imagine throttlebody and tunes will eventually get released as these trucks age
I haven't noticed any, and I do 75+ for 3+ hours a week when getting off from work, and around tone as well, only downside is my MPG because I like the sound it makes..
I'm not sure about this Ram but my F150 and my Mustang would prompt "Car will shut down in 20 seconds" after idling for 10 minutes unless you pressed ok.
Hey guys, Here's a few videos of the Exhaust set up I'm running,
Total cost of Install was probably about $130 for the Muffler and Install and another $50 for the Resonator Delete due to needed a new pipe fab'd
Second video was taken today, Mixed driving, Starting with the Front Windows...
Here you guys go, First video is Driving away,
The second video is today, The first half is with the windows down, then I roll the windows up, Then put on some music, then all the windows and back window open, to give you some idea of Cabin sound.
Also my Go Pro's Clock is 6 hours fast i just...
myself?! God no, I haven't the skill, A local Exhaust shop did the work for $160 that's install with the Muffler and the Resonator delete, I'll get pictures of that as well.
I have a Flowmaster Super 40 with a Resonator Delete, I'll get my GoPro out of my Motorcycle bag tomorrow and Get a video together for y'all if you want, Cold Start, Idle, Rev, Drive-by and Internal Driving as well if you want.
Edit: Resonator, Not Exhaust Delete, D'OH
If you're in Houston and want a easy dealer to deal with I'll throw in my .2 cents for River Oaks Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram,
They actually found me the Truck I wanted up in Grapevine and helped with the deal, Easy to deal with sales people and the Service Department is great too, If your wait is...
Can't help but wonder if the Design Teams for the Exterior and Interior are getting their asses reamed, I know GM has to read the Reviews and all of them had that same "What the hell is this?" with the Interior Vibe.
Also, LOL
