There are standard hole patterns you could use, but I would just want a blank that I can attach my own stuff to however I would want. The only holes it would need for me are the two existing screw holes to mount it to the dash. The plastic needs to be thick enough to hold a mount with an iPad...
I would be ok with a drop in that has the front 10-3/4" wall, and two side 6-3/4" walls. I would not need the back wall that angles around. The back area (#5) would just be open, and the 6-3/4" walls would keep the insert from moving back and forth. Hope this make sense.
I was a little scared, given all of the people quoting low MPGs. But, I've gotten about 14 MPG mixed, and that's what my F-150 3.5L EcoBoost got, so I'm not upset. Most of my driving is sitting and waiting in traffic, though I get about a 28 mile round trip on the interstate to work. 65 MPH...
I don't know of any for the top portion, but there is a member on here who's son 3D prints organizers for the bottom portion.
Edit: Found it. https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/3d-printed-console-organizer-now-available.10159/
I'm seriously considering the Alumax 14 or 18" rack from Max Modular. They sell brackets that work with some tonneau covers including the Retrax and Bakflip lines. When using the tonneau cover brackets, the rack is held on by only four bolts and weighs about 55 lbs, so you can easily remove it...
I did a few things today:
3) I researched GPS trail apps.
It looks to me like the winner by pure recommendation alone is Gaia GPS. There are several subscription models, so I'm trying out the free one right now. The map layers are truly amazing. There are many videos on YouTube describing...
I use Adam's Polishes Leather and Interior Cleaner and their Leather Conditioner. I'm a fan of their products. I'm not an experienced detailer like some others on here, so they may have much better advice. But so far, all my Adam's products have worked well. I especially love the Detail...
I originally thought the Alpine system was a little flat. I had to adjust the equalizer, loudness settings, and the surround sound setting. Additionally, I had to increase the quality of the source material (like allowing higher definition audio in my streaming service).
Now, I think it plays...
Picked up a 2019 Ram Rebel in Bright White on Saturday. Specs are in my signature.
I plan on making this an overlanding vehicle with a roof top tent. For now, I've got the following on order: Mopar 2" lift kit, Mopar off road running boards, Mopar tri-fold hard cover tonneau, Mopar bed...
So, I received my new Ram Rebel this weekend, and I'm pleased to say that the ammo canisters fit perfectly inside the factory under seat storage box! With the canisters on both sides, you still have space in the middle for straps and whatnot.
I was flummoxed by this as well. My window sticker said "keyless entry". I assumed that meant "no key". Now, here's where the connotation and denotation differ on the word "key". To me, "key" meant the whole thing - fob and physical metal key. That's my fault for not asking questions and...
I have a Rebel with the stock 1" lift. The dealer will be installing the Mopar 2" lift on top of that, part # P5155797, which does not seem to have new UCAs. I verified that the end result would be a 3" lift with no leveling in the front.
That's different for me. With Android Auto, if I have Google Maps at the top, and choose music on the bottom, it just switches Google Maps to Pandora on the top, not on the bottom.
I have Android Auto as my top card (for Spotify and Pandora). I have Uconnect Nav as my bottom card. When I plug in my phone, it will not allow me to keep Uconnect Nav on the bottom, and if I try to choose the Nav card or Phone card for the bottom, it just launches the applicable Android Auto...
In my particular case, it was the cable. I tried using a cheap cable, and Android Auto would never work reliably. There is an actual list of cables that they recommend, so I just purchased one off that list and haven't had issues since.
Regarding Android Auto and Bluetooth - yes it will work...
I had a similar issue today. I thought my brand new Rebel had a screen issue, but then I realized it had started raining (or in your case, maybe getting dark), and the headlights had come on. When the lights come on, the radio and dash lights get dimmed to whatever the dimmer dial is set at...
