I received the test bracket today for the Max Modular rack. Unfortunately, the bottom part is just a little too long and hits the bed divider rail, causing the entire tonneau rail to separate from the bed by about 1/4 to 1/2" all the way down the rail. I've emailed their sales team do see if...
I just ordered a MAX Modular Bed Rack Tonneau Cover Single Test Bracket to see if the rack will work with the bed rails. It should work fine with the tonneau cover. Since the lift didn't work, I have a large credit that can now go towards an Alumax rack and roof top tent.
Right now, I'm...
It will fold flat against the back window allowing full access to the bed. I had an older version on my Ford, and it seemed much thicker. This one is thin and light. No complaints so far.
9) Running Boards.
I forgot that the Mopar Off-Road Style Running Boards also got installed yesterday...
I got the truck back from the dealership today. Bad news is that the lift they ordered would not work on the Rebel. Good news is that they were still able to complete the LineX, bed utility rails, bed divider, and tonneau cover.
I also found the MOLLE panels and JeepUniq radio holder...
Well, come to find out the lift kit that was ordered would not work even though the dealership called the distributor to validate the part number. The spring would not fit over the shock. They had to put everything back and they confirmed with FCA that their is no Mopar lift available for the...
I take my truck to Courtesy Dodge, but that's due to convenience and location. I've heard good things about Jim Browne Dodge if you're in Tampa proper.
I'm in the TB area. It depends on the dealer and the circumstances. If it's a same day warranty repair, you'll likely just get bused to a place of your choice. Right now, they're doing four days worth of part installs on my truck, and they gave me a loaner for free for those four days - after...
I've had the same issue three times now. About 700 miles on the truck.

8) Comms
Comms came in today. I'll be sticking with a handheld Ham radio for now, to be used primarily for convoy chatter. For this purpose, I picked up the Baofeng BF-F8HP radio based on reviews on Ham videos and its reputation with coworkers. To go with it, I chose the BTECH QHM22 speaker...
6) Fire extinguisher.
I was looking through Overland Bound and found a few threads about the first things to purchase for overlanding. At the top of the list was a fire extinguisher. This thread goes into detail about what to carry and why. Aside from vehicle fires, you'll need one if you...
Thanks for the replies. I had planned on using this setup for overlanding, so is the general consensus that new UCAs are needed? The truck and lift are warrantied. I was also going to add a 2" leveling kit on the front to make the truck level, but then the front would be raised 5" and the...
From the install guide here, part 5 shows that you actually remove the factory tie-down cleats before installing the assembled stanchions. The bars just ride the rails the cleats would be on. The cleats are added back later in the process.
Does anyone know definitively whether or not a 2" Mopar lift kit (part P5155797) on a 2019 Ram Rebel will lift the truck a total of 3" (1" stock plus 2" kit) or only 2" (replace 1" stock with 2" kit)? I'm getting the lift kit installed next Monday and don't see paying as much as it costs in...
