Check this video out. Andrew goes into the pros and cons of different racks, and using a fiberglass cap vs an aluminum cap. I'm not a fan of aluminum caps, but what he says makes some sense. The video's a bit long, but it's full of useful info.
Are your rails going to hold that much weight (tent, water, etc)?
I'm looking at the Max Modular Alumax right now, with the intent of slapping a RTT on top.
Rebel logo meaning Ram Rebel or Star Wars Rebel? I was hoping to make something that fellow fans would get. Like the three stripes (FN-2187's bloody helmet) instead of Dodge's two stripes, and the Rebel in Star Wars font.
LineX makes a clear topcoat for their base LineX that costs extra. It prohibits the fading and chalkiness you'll see over several seasons.
For black trim there are several options to consider: a preventative (like 303), a touch up (like Armor All), and a restorer (like Forever Black). If...
I purchased the extended warranty through my dealership. The warranty was through Fidelity if I remember correctly. There was a box on that warranty that said "Lift Kit", and it was not checked. I called to inquire about it, and they advised that if it wasn't checked, any lift kit would void...
I was originally ordering a blue streak Laramie, but it's taking forever. So, I opted for a white Rebel that was local instead. Being a big Star Wars fan, this works out in my favor. So, I'm looking for ideas other than the standard vinyl stickers off eBay/Amazon. Something like this...
This is my understanding as well. I read it in some Ram literature that had a nice little disclaimer about the divider only coming with the Ramboxes. They do have a sliding divider you can purchase for the regular bed as well, but it doesn't come with the BUG.
Black bumper, grille, wheels, and boards, please.
Please disregard. I ended up going with a stormtrooper instead (white Rebel). Now, I just have to design my rear vinyl.
I ordered my new truck with chrome thinking I would add new bumpers later. Would it be possible for someone to black out the chrome and wheels in this photo please?
The vehicle I ordered also has chrome bumpers. My intent was to eventually replace them with a winch capable front bumper, and a tire carrying rear bumper.
In the meantime, I was going to see about having them LineX'd black. I was going to powder coat the rims black as well since I ordered...
I'm in Florida so I'm only familiar with the laws in this state. Additionally, I am not a lawyer and heed all of the other standard disclaimers. This is my personal experience, so your mileage may vary.
In Florida, there are several routes you can take.
1) Hire a lawyer to work a...
Without knowing the entire scenario or the laws in your state, this would have likely led to your arrest. However, you've got to do what you've go to do to make sure you're not a statistic.
I think, ideally, returning to your car, locking your doors, retrieving your gun, and calling 911...
IMHO, foam may make it more difficult to retrieve the weapon when needed. Have you looked at a magnet solution? That should keep it from sliding as well as make sure it's at the ready if needed.
This has happened to me three times now, all at low speeds. It's reaching the high 90's here in southern Florida, so we have the A/C on high pretty much all of the time. It happened yesterday when I was driving between stop signs in my subdivision after just leaving the house. About a minute...
I've read some threads on this forum and others that talk about older model air suspensions being a nightmare in cold weather. I've also read that the 2019 air suspension has been redesigned.
I live in south Florida, so we rarely see days under 30F degrees. Would air suspension still be a bad...
